The Club Fitness Center - Fitness center in Crescent City - 220 US-101, USA

This is not a true 24hour gym. Locker room, sauna, showers, and fitness room are closed 630pm-530am. They even close on big gym days like New Year's Day. A lot of members I spoke with agree this is not worth it. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Preface: Detailed review The Club was an absolute lifesaver. Being on vacation and still trying to achieve fitness goals is oftentimes extremely tricky, especially when it’s in a more remote location. I usually use Planet Fitness for their 24hr gym policy so I was worried about finding anything remotely close to that here in Crescent City. I found The Club through a quick google search, called the front desk for info, and signed up in-person to get my key fob in 5 minutes for my 3 day stay. $10/day for a 24hr gym, to me, is no trouble. Spending the $30 for my short time here in Crescent City was so worth it for the variety of weight machines, cardio equipment, and free weights. They have 2 bathrooms and even had microfiber towels to wipe down equipment which made my eco-friendly self extremely happy (no one-time use paper towels). I can’t say for the rest of the day but the 5am-7am crowd was very respectful and focused (no slamming weights or weird dirty looks). I was able to find everything I possibly needed at this gym and it was such a relief to me. Clean, spacious, well-equipped, and honestly just what I needed. It was one thing I didn’t have to worry about while on my vacation. If I had to critique anything, it would be merely minor aspects. I would’ve loved to see more lockers with holes for locks to store my items and some sort of music playing throughout. I was lucky that at 5am, the one locker with a hole that I could put my lock through, was available each time I went (not to say this is a bad area, I just like to be safe with storing my belongings). As far as music goes, just make sure to bring your headphones unless you want to hear mostly silence, if that’s fine with you, no worries then! Again, very small and minute critiques. So grateful this gym is here in small Crescent City and that it offered literally EVERYTHING I could’ve asked for when it comes to a short-term vacation gym! Exceeded all expectations :)

We are visiting Crescent City from out of town and were looking for a place to work out. This place met our needs. T It is definantly an older facility, but the employees do a great job keeping things clean and organized.

New machines, great staff, clean facility. 24 hours!

I have a lot of good memories of coming here and working out at this gym. They have loads of different machines and a basketball court. They also have a sauna and a tanning bed for those who want to get a tan and keep a tan in this town.

I love this gym its great that they have 24 hour access so I can go anytime I want to. Their staff is very nice. The racket ball room is a personal favorite for me because I feel like I'm in my own space would highly recommend this gym, their family plan helped me save a little bit of money and now my neice is a total gym rat. 10/10

The Club is a great and clean place to work out at. The best part is your ID card that you can use to get a work out in, night or day.

I come up there during the summer months for work so I purchased a 30 day pass they said I could use it any time, well the times when I did try and use it, the card did not work. So No Work out for me! I didn't have time to go in and talk to the owners about the problem, in addition, right before I left the area, I thought I'll try and get a workout in before I leave. The girl that was behind the counter was not doing anything to save a customer, she was rude would not let me work out without purchasing more passes. Mind you my pass had only expired a day or two before that.alsi yes the gym is open 24 hours but there is no employee before it after certain hours. I am still going in to try and talk to the owners about the lack of customer service that there employee have.but I will not be coming back as a customer.
