I was there for a full day conference filled with presentations, vendor booths, and networking. This is a great place for such an event for over 1,500 attendees. There is plenty of room to spread out and navigate to each of the half dozen or so ballrooms. The facility is well maintained and felt safe because of the numerous points of egress. The acoustics, audio/video, and seating in the big auditorium provided a great experience.
Was there for the gta conference. Dec 6-8. Very nice facilitie. Staff very frendley. You can enter the parking structure from two different locations, front side and back. $10 for the entire day. They had all their Christmas tress up and decorated. The elevator is very small and slow. It's very grand when you walk in, very well taken care of. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc. Recommend you leave your vehicle at their, and walk downtown, which starts just across the street from the front. In the rear, there is ice skating. Over all, a very nice place.
Went for the Jurassic event. The event was nice if your kid was 3-8 years old. But they didn't specify anything about on the site nor did they have signs at the inflatables. We stood in line for inflatables my 10 yr old grandson wasn't allowed on. Then they had you pay extra for whatever was supposed to take place after 4pm and nothing happened. The Classic Center is wonderful. I have attended many events. They do well with signage usually but they lacked this time. I will always attend interesting events though.
Great place for so many different events and various concerts. Staff goes above and beyond!
The venue boasts clean facilities, providing a comfortable space for large conferences. While parking entails a bit of a walk, it's manageable. The food served during our conference was amazing, contributing to a great overall experience.
I had a 2 day company conference at the classic center. Great events space. I wish I could have explored the building more, but there were multiple events going on. The only complaint was the catering. I'm not sure if the venue provided the food, but it did seem they provided the wait staff who were nice. You do not realize how big the space is from the entrance because the big rooms are down 2 stories. The main room can be broken up into smaller rooms and still have a big conference area. I would like to see it fully opened up for a concert. Overall, it was a good experience.
We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Classic Center in Athens, and I must say, it's a truly gorgeous venue. The atmosphere and design are top-notch, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience.
What made my visit even more memorable was the opportunity to see John Mulaney perform here. His show was absolutely hilarious and made for an incredible night out.
If you're looking for a venue that combines elegance with great entertainment, the Classic Center is the place to be. I highly recommend it!
I hadn’t been to The Classic Center in such a long time but recently went for The Price is Right Live and had such a great time! Not only is it clean, staff is friendly and the show was great but there are plenty of places to find parking and since it’s in the downtown area of Athens it was nice and convenient to get a bite to eat prior to the show. I couldn’t recommend the venue more!
A hidden gem in Athens, GA! The instructor comes from a lineage of some of the best jiu jitsu practitioners in the world (just look up Andre Galvao). He is excellent at articulating the techniques to students across all levels and you can tell that h
Unfortunately we had to have our bearded dragon put to sleep. Everyone was so nice and compassionate. They took really good care of us and my dragon. They explained everything and didn't rush us. The added memory tile of his paws and tail was a wonde
Been going here for a long time now! Beyond grateful for the awesome staff and conversations with customers Ive had. BEST kava around. My favorite is the open mic nights on wednesdays!
On April 20, 2023, the ribbon cutting ceremony reopened the trestle as part of the Firefly trail. While the trestle has been completely rebuilt, the replacement honors the important place that the trestle has played in Athens history including but r
This was my very first time coming to this location and I have to say the environment is beyond chill, but the very best oart is the staff especially the female bar tender (I wish I got her name) she is super attentive and sweet. The best service I h
UGA games are a great time! The stadium is clean, easy to access, and provides transportation to and from the parking garages. Great food but does not serve alcoholic beverages. You must tailgate for that experience. Have fun! Go Dogs!
I have been here twice now and it is always a pleasure. The nature center is smaller than most paid attractions, but hey it is free! The trails are nice from what I have seen and the staff was also very courteous. It was a great location to practice
