Ok, this place is really beautiful. Great Date vibes. Our waitress was very attentive. We never had to ask her for drink refill. The bathroom stalls were really clean, and there was no gap between stalls. That was very nice. The tile on the bathroom floor, I thought, was so cute. They looked like little flowers. Now that I've got all the positive out of the way, let's talk about all the negative. I'm not sure why plates were wet that we were supposed to put or fried mozzarella balls on. The center of the balls was cold. The dip was actually really good. The flavor of the grilled chicken was really good, but the wheat bread was not. The veggie wasn't very good. Not cooked long enough still pretty hard. My daughter got the red beans and rice it was extremely bland. Mac and cheese was good. Burger was good, not great. They did have the good fries. Salads were good, but they can't go wrong there. For 3 people each a meal and cheese balls it was $72 before tip. I just don't think it wasn't worth the money.
Yesterday we had a great birthday celebration with friends. The onion rings were amazing and I had the best Bloody Mary ever! The waitress was very attentive! Oh and did I mention the Pecan Praline Bread Pudding? OMG!! Thanks Chimes for serving quality food at a great price!
The service was great. Very friendly and helpful. The seating is arranged well, and the building decor is top notch. Fish and steak were cooked perfectly. Oysters were good, some were smaller size. New item of alligator chili was very delicious, but wish it was served with hush puppies or cornbread instead of regular bread. Really didn't care for the jambalaya, it was kind of creamy and tasted like a mix of boudin and rice a roni . Will definitely be back.
This is a really nice place for dinner. Being a new restaurant in Lafayette, it is really busy. So expect a wait. But if the weather is good, you can hang out in the back which is a really nice area. Inside and out was well thought out for a good experience. The food is Creole so don't go here expecting Cajun. The food was good and plan on trying something new next time I'm in town. Try the char broiled oysters, yum.
Extremely nice venue! You can tell they anticipate for large crowds and/or events. There is a very large deck patio under a large beautiful tree, also nice outdoor dining with fans. Indoor dining was very spacious as the ceilings are very tall. As for the food. I highly suggest the onion rings!! They were delicious 🤤 I ordered the spring salad and added a protein (chicken salad) it was $18!!! I felt that the salad itself was way overpriced for what was given, just the salad with no protein was $13!!!! Flavor combo was not the best I prob should’ve gotten it with just grilled chicken maybe! Our server was excellent and quick with everything
My husband and I went for lunch and had excellent service. (Beware: Parking is horrible!) The staff was friendly and attentive, but not bothersome. My husband had the steak burger; I had the shrimp and grits. He loved his burger, but my grits were way too salty. We also got the spinach and artichoke dip which was phenomenal. I would go back, but I'd skip the shrimp and grits.
I finally got a chance to visit since their opening and I was not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious, I would say that their fried batter is salty, but other than that I'd definitely visit again to try other menu items. The atheistic and atmosphere is very nice, I also love the patio area. I'd love to go back when the weather is cooler so I can sit in the patio area.
Overall the venue is gorgeous, and we had a great attentive waitress. But, the food’s currently in a disappointing state and needs to catch up to the excellence of other aspects of the restaurant, i.e., bow tie pasta was undercooked, pork chop was overcooked and dry, crab claws were old and chewy, and finally the hollandaise-style crab sauce was separating at the table. The most redeeming, quality about the food, though, is that there’s great flavor! Don’t know when I’ll be back, but will update review accordingly! Hoping for their future success; just some early woes from a brand new restaurant, nothing to be concerned about currently.
Wanted to check it out to see if it was as good as the Broussard location. It totally was. Our waitress, Brittany, was awesome! Energetic, attentive, and got everything correct. First, we got the fried pickle appetizer, and then I ordered the grilled
As a complete newbie, walking in the lights were dim, it was quiet, the room was warm. I drove from ville platte so walking in after the drive was warm and welcoming. Magan was in the lobby waiting with a smile, she walked me through signing in, sho
I stopped in for a class here with my friend and I can NOT wait to go back! It was so much fun and an EXCELLENT Workout. The staff was so encouraging and didnât make me feel weird if I couldnât do certain things due to limitations with my arm. I
