The Cheesecake Factory - Restaurant in Coral Gables - 2418 Ponce de Leon, USA

Family friendly restaurant. I appreciate the diverse selection of dishes on the menu. Party of four (two adults and two teens) visited on a Sunday night around 7:30pm. We called in advance and made reservations, however we arrived one hour early and were seated. Our appetizers were: avocado egg rolls (my personal fave), fried macaroni cheese and housemade meatballs (very delicious). I ordered a Chinese chicken salad (1600 calories) bit was disappointed because the mandarin oranges were omitted. The others had shrimp with angel hair pasta, fried shrimp platter (shrimp had heavy breading) and margarita pizza (my daughters fave). We even splurged and ordered two slices of cheesecake - Oreo Explosion and Strawberry (original). The Oreo cheesecake was delicious. Overall great dining experience and I commend our waiter - Kevin who was very personable

The staff appeared unwelcoming, giving off an impression that they might not be enthusiastic about his work. This made it uncomfortable to request anything. Moreover, the utensils—spoon, fork, and knife—were sticky and dirty. Despite these issues, the redeeming factor was the exceptionally delicious food, which somewhat offset the overall experience.

I rarely ever write negative reviews. But here we are… There are a TON of great places to eat in Coral Gables. This was not my first choice, but my first choice ended up being temporarily closed for renovations. I only had 40 minutes left for lunch so we came here because we thought it would be faster than most of the other sit down restaurants in the area. We were wrong! After the hostess sat us we waited more than 10 minutes for our server to come by the table! I had just asked a bidder to get our server for us when she waved at me and let me know she was coming. I ordered the Skinnylicious chopped salad and my son ordered a club sandwich with fries. He got a coke and I had water. Simple enough order, but for some reason it took half an hour to get our food! I’m sure that most people who come here for lunch are doing so on their lunch break, and that their time is just as limited as mine was. I had gone to the window to tell the server that we would need boxes and the check just as she was being handed our food. My time was already up and I hadn’t even received my food yet. Why would a salad and sandwich take 40 minutes? The salad was good (I ate it when I got home). But after tip, lunch was $50!?! For a salad and sandwich?!? And after waiting a ridiculously long time? I have been to a lot of other Cheesecake Factory locations, but this was my first and last time ever going to this location.

I've been to several Cheesecake Factories, but this one was by far the least busiest and we were actually able to hear each other at our table. The service was excellent and the food delicious.

Starting off with just a big WOWWWW🥰🥰🥰😂. The waitress who aided us for the afternoon was Emilia and she did a wonderful job. For appetizers we had the fried macaroni and cheese balls which was amazing and some fresh and tasty salad For the main course we had the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli, as well as the chicken and shrimp gumbo which was wonderful as well. For drinks we had the mango strawberry as well as regular mojito. For the star of the the night we had the upside down pineapple cheesecake and the dulce de leche cheesecake. All and all everything was wonderful . The food and drinks were amazing. I’ll let the vide speak for itself.

Excellent location, service and food. From the moment we entered to the moment we left, we were treated very friendly and made us feel super comfortable. Skylar was our waitress and her attention was exceptional. We had the 4 cheese pasta with shrimp, shrimp with angel hair, Margherita pizza, tortilla soup, and tiramisu for dessert (I'm not a big fan of cheesecake, but my friends do love their cheesecake). The 4 cheese and shrimp was so good. It was creamy and full of flavor. The angel hair with shrimp was a bit dry but it tasted really good. The Margherita pizza was delicious; it had a lot of cheese and was a bit moist. The tiramisu was good but it was a bit dry to my taste. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. They have fans for when it's hot and they even have a fire pit for the colder days. Definitely worth going to the location. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but totally worth it.

The food was mediocre at best. Service was absolutely terrible. Restaurant was not full at all. Server came took order then never checked in with us, for at least 45 minutes. Empty water glasses and no drinks. Food came out some order ice cold some hot. Another 10 minutes waiting for them for cheese. They close earlier than expected. 10:30 bar and kitchen closed. Sign on front door clearly states 12.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Cheesecake Factory, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. What really stood out to me was the selection of cheesecakes they had. It was almost impossible to choose just one flavor because they all sounded so delicious! In the end, I went with the classic New York style cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. The cheesecake was rich, creamy, and had the perfect texture. I could taste the high-quality ingredients in every bite, and the portion size was so generous that I had plenty to take home with me. Beyond the dessert, the food was also top-notch. I had the pleasure of trying the avocado egg rolls, which were a unique and tasty appetizer. The entree was fantastic as well - I opted for the spinach and mushroom flatbread, and it was mouthwatering. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Cheesecake Factory. The food was exceptional, and the cheesecake was out of this world. The atmosphere and attentive staff only added to the overall experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.
