The Cheesecake Factory - Restaurant in Virginia Beach - 265 Central Park Ave, USA

My impression of the Virginia Beach Cheesecake Factory has forever changed after the experience I had during August of 2022, a memorable birthday meal. We waited over an hour to be seated at a table outside, that was there and available the entire duration of our wait. The waiter took forever to address us, to take our order, to bring drinks…okay, maybe they were short staffed. But here’s the kicker - when the medium filet I ordered was finally served to me after an hour plus, at temperatures from rare to well done, this waiter had the audacity to say “OH you wanted it ALL medium???” By the time my meal was corrected thirty minutes later, my sides were cold, my partners meal was cold, and they didn’t even comp us for the drinks they offered to us while we waited for them to fix the order. I’ve been back once since, and the atmosphere was nice, but that one experience has forever tarnished Cheesecake Factory’s reputation in my option.

Let me start out by saying i really enjoyed the cheesecake, it was delicious! The food was not good at all. I went super simple with a taco dish also ordered calamari. Let me just say hospital food taste better than this My recommendation would be to indulge in the cheesecake and stay far away from the food.

I tend to love everything I ever get here. On my latest visit, I got the Steak Diane. Amazing! And the macaroni is one of my favorites. But, as a mashed potato connoisseur, I was disappointed. That, doesn't detract from the score though. Just don't get the mashed potatoes unless you don't like flavor.

I've been here quite a few times and usually enjoy myself here. The menu is definitely overwhelming as they have a plethora of options to choose from, but I don't have many options due to dietary restrictions. Their food is good, can be better. I wish they had more plant based and vegan items on the menu though. The servers there are always very polite, attentive, and friendly. You won't have to wait too long for your food. I do enjoy myself when I visit and have been on multiple occasions. I recommend trying it! Let's not forget the famous cheesecakes!! Man oh man! What a selection!!! Just make sure you try one when you go! Nice portion size of food here as well.

The appetizers were fantastic. The entrees were good. The cheesecake looked fancy but I really expected something more from it. Also kind of strange that they don't take RSVPs for parties over 6, but then when you show up they aren't ready.

The food was great and we had an excellent server. It's a little pricey but worth it. We will go back again.

Such a nice place to be and the food was so good! Our Waiter was perfect and attentive as well. I'll go back again for sure!

I ordered a lunch size barbecue ranch chicken salad at this location recently. The portion size was a decent decent enough for left overs and the salad was delicious. I typically dont order salads at Cheesecake Factory but I wanted to try it out and I was not disappointed. It was nicely seasoned and the onions that were included made it super delicious and crunchy.
