It was nice...Sandra was great. We had wifi trouble and she work for 1 1/2 hours to make sure it was fix for us. Beds were fine. Room was clean. Close to Lake Erie so you could walk and enjoy the geese. Love and enjoy the scenery. We love Bayview! Small community. Restaurants ...Little store for snacks and fishing items. ❤️ Love the area!
A quiet motel, very clean, and always a great stay. We had to make a last minute change with our trip, and Sandra was able to accommodate and provided us an air mattress for the additional person. It is a relaxing environment, great budget location, and all around great time. The view is also fantastic after a long day of driving & fishing.
Absolutely fantastic stay. WiFi was a bit spotty on Verizon, but my husband has a different carrier and his internet worked great. The motel also offers free WiFi we just prefer to use our own. Excellent customer service and when the site says dog friendly they mean it. Upon arrival we were given blankets, treats and dishes for our dogs. Normally our dogs sleep with us but both of them slept on the blankets provided which meant we got a king size bed to ourselves. Everything was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There are restaurants walking distance as well as a bait shop. And don’t worry about the view of the water as there are plenty of viewing places including just sitting outside of your room if you don’t want to enjoy the great fireplace and seating including a grill for bbq. I usually find something wrong with every hotel/motel, but not this one. 10 out of 10! Keep up the great work!

Great location, close to RT2 on the Bay. Nothing fancy, very clean, general manager and staff bursting with integrity! Highly recommend!!!!!! Plus the heater has a continuous fan mode, Those that travel a lot know how valuable this is!!!!! Literally minutes from Port Clinton and Lakeside Marblehead.
I was traveling and needed to get out of the bad weather! I got super friendly service, a great rate and clean room! I couldn't ask for more! I would stay here again!
A real gem! Groovy and vintage from the outside, clean and modern rooms inside. Genuinely kind and attentive service. Great coffee and food right next door. A pleasant and affordable choice for a visit to the Erie shores and islands, or a worthwhile detour if you're traveling east or west. Would definitely come back!
My wife and I stayed at the Cedar Motel for our 27th Wedding Anniversary get away. Boy o boy.... it was so so nice. First off Saundra was super helpful and so kind. The free snacks and beverages in the lobby were awesome. The room was perfect as we really just wanted a clean bed to sleep in and the room decor was perfect. You're hospitality was beyond what you get at any big hotel. Saundra made a fire for us in the fire pit and even had time to run to the store to get donuts for the morning. The sunrise in the morning off Sandusky Bay literally right outside our room was perfect. We'd definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a great clean room and not far from Cedar Point and Port Clinton.
