The Catch - Seafood restaurant in Humble - 6730 Atascocita Road ste 115, USA

Ordered from DoorDash and it was under the name Cajun Creation. Followed the address and it led me here which was surprising because I’ve had the catch before and it was good. This food , not so much. The bowl of gumbo was gritty, like the flour wasn’t dissolved properly. The tater tots were old and tasted like grease. The chicken fingers were old, dry and hard. The hush puppies were rock solid and when you bit into them, the cornbread crumbled like dirt. The fried fish was salty and beignets were hard and greasy. If this is the wrong place , I apologize, but this is where it led me. I will not be ordering again.

The food is usually good and they have decent prices. But, Clarissa, the heavy lady with platinum hair, has a bad attitude. Every time I pick up a to-go order, she never greets me, nor does she smile. If you're tired of your job, leave! Most recently, I ordered through GrubHub, and they sent me heavily burned green beans and fish. Guess they thought since they didn't have to see me, they could give me the bottom of the pot's mess. I messaged them through their website. No response.

This is the worst seafood I’ve ever eaten in my life. A grease oily salty mess with an odd artificial smoky boil fake smell. I knew it was gone be nasty when I smelled the odd aroma. I should have know better when it was only 1 customer inside

Ordered a bowl of Gumbo, drained out all the roux, this is all the protein that came with, not even a quarter filled. I've complained about this place a number of times already, I've wasted so much on Gumbo, and every time it's either hit or miss. The business has replied to my reviews about tackling the issues I've brought forth number of times. Clearly it just gets worse and worse. They just don't care. What is it? Is it because I always get my rice on the side (like it should be)? I don't understand how this acceptable? What am I suppose to get full off of? The Roux alone? Ridiculous. You've disappointed for the last time, anyone buying the Gumbo, just know you'll never know what you're gonna get it and how much of it you are getting. This is my last time buying anything from here, I shouldn't have to open my mouth all the time when I go to make sure you guys ain't being shiesty on the Gumbo.

Very disappointed in the quality, texture, service received. Catfish was cold and rubbery, jumbo shrimp was greasy/cold, did not recieve the medium shrimp etoufee, recieved 5 popcorn Shrimp that was greasy as well and 15 pieces of fried okra. There are no managers to respond to the complaint/concern, just a bunch of employees that don't know what to do. Too much money spent for a family meal that was below quality.

I placed an order using their online ordering system with their branded logo. I knew something was up because I was never emailed a receipt or confirmation. When I arrived, they said they had no order for me to pickup, so their online ordering basically stole my money. My family was left hungry and my money was taken. I couldn't even prove I placed an order because they never emailed me a receipt. How hard is it to invest in a decent online ordering system?

Their French quarter plate, fried oysters, catfish, along w/green tomatoes, simply delicious... priced reasonably. Thank you Clarissa for the suggestion you were very helpful w/our order. We will be back!

Great place to get good fried fish and shrimps. They had free margaritas when we went and they were delicious aside from the mouthwatering platers of seafood. We ordered the fried pickles on a separate occasion but this time we ate at the restaurant and they were much better fresh. Highly recommend this place. 👌
