The Castle Pines Motel - Featured Reviews (41)
This place has been amazing for me as an extended stay. I've been looking for a permanent home in Castle Rock and Joel and his staff have made this a great place to stay while I'm navigating this crazy real estate market. The room is very comfortable and clean, and this is also a very peaceful place. They have a nice patio with plants, under a big shade tree, where I often sit and relax in my down time. The motel is also attached to a consignment shop and plant nursery with some really cool items to shop for. I've already bought a few succulents for my family as gifts. Furthermore, this place is right in downtown, so I'm able to walk to all the shops and restaurants and experience downtown Castle Rock. This place is a gem, and I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a short stay, or a long stay like myself. Joel and Alicia, thank you so much!
Web site allowed me to make a reservation then 2 days later canceled me cause they were overbooked. Won’t ever go there …
My rating for these accommodations is less than 1 star. What renovations?? Coffee maker included- no coffee cups. One plastic water glass. No trash can, although tossing trash on floor would enhance the “ambiance “. No bath soap. Most upsetting were towels. Maybe clean, but what I would use for cleaning cloths. In fact, I thought maybe maid ( what maid?) left them by accident, instead of guest towels. There is nothing positive I can report & hope my review is published to alert other prospective visitors.
Great experience! Jodi escorted us to our newly remodeled room. She made sure everything was perfect and we were familiar with the workings. She gave us super recommendations to eat. She made our dog feel welcome too! The best welcome I've ever received on check in. The location was right under the beautiful Castle Rock, and within walking to charming downtown. The room doors were off the Main Street making it quiet. There's a area in back to walk dogs. The value is excellent. We will make it our go-to place to stay in Castle Rock.
I’m here at Castle Pines Motel right now. This place is just absolutely wonderful. The staff have been very accommodating and even let me check in 3 hours early. The rooms are very nicely remodeled and the location is supreme. The lack of a microwave can be an issue for a business traveler like me but everything else makes up for it. The little common area courtyard is a great place to meet the other guests at the hotel. I love that the place is rather small which makes it kind of exclusive. You know exactly who’s around and you know if your safe or not. The owner is fantastic and I wish I could have known about this before booking an Airbnb for a week starting tomorrow. I would have stayed here instead. This place rocks!
EDIT: After speaking with the owner about the microwave issue, they accommodated me to the fullest. I would definitely recommend this little gem to any business traveler.
Newly decorated with quality fixtures & fittings.
Room 7 was small but pleasant. I stayed about 6 weeks. Only downside was lack of housekeeping - the housekeeper was off sick for a week so the room wasn’t cleaned. Other times it was clearly done in a hurry and not very thoroughly. Usually no housekeeping on weekends.
There is no front desk; the hotel is managed by the adjoining antique store which closes at 6pm, 4 on Sundays.
There are no microwaves (insurance company decision) due to previous guest causing a fire by misusing the one in his room.
The owners and staff are very nice and want you to have an enjoyable stay.
Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants within a short walk.
It is a nice motel . I enjoyed it. The room was very nice . They have a mini refrigerator and a microwave. There is cable and wifi. There was also a coffee maker. The shower was hot . There were plenty of fluffy towels. It was quiet . There was even a small patio. Elisha was wonderful. I would recommend it and definitely stay there again.
Hands down the best place to stay in castle rock. Book early the rooms get reserved quickly. Attentive service if requested but just enough space that you won't feel awkward or bothered. A landmark property that helped build the town up to what you now see today. A very Well kept recently remodeled property. Old timers in town say: The Steve Miller band created the song "Abracadabra" on the back patio.
The best CrossFit gym and community. You always feel welcome. No matter your past experience of fitness the coaches are always willing to help and meet you where youâre at. Be careful. This sport/gym is addicting!!
We LOVE it here!
My son is enjoying himself, learning a lot, and love going to "fight" each week. It used to be hard to get him to get out of the house and do stuff and now he's constantly asking to go.
The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeab

I have been coming here for years and it is hands down the best place I have ever tanned at before. Very clean, everything is always sanitized prior to use and the staff and owner care so much! Their advice to reach the color you want safely is outst
