The Castle House - Estate - Hotel in Joshua Tree - 64278 E Broadway, USA

We had a fabulous trip to Joshua trip! I had never experienced glamping before so was excited to try Castle House-Estate. My husband and I stayed in their Container and my son and daughter-in-law stayed in a Yurt nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to have all the comforts of a hotel in our Container. It was so well decorated and every space was utilized. There was a shower with amenities and a bathroom. The air condition was perfect since we went in June! We loved also that at night we could sit on top of the Container and stargaze! The Yurt had a very comfortable bed and was very spacious. There was also some seating inside the Yurt. We were about 15 minutes from the Joshua Tree entrance. We also met the owner who made sure we had everything we needed. The place is very well spaced so even if you can see people in the distance you still feel like a whole section of the area is yours. We will absolutely return!

We loved this experience! The whole complex has a very cool vibe. The guard tower is a super cute tiny home, with a hatch that leads up to the rooftop where I ended up sleeping under the stars! For such a small space, there are a lot of thoughtful amenities - a mini fridge, a fire pit, outdoor eating space, and comfortable bed w/TV. We will definitely book this again in the future.

The shipping container home was truly an amazing stay! Such a unique property, and the little touches inside the unit made me feel right at home. The view on the rooftop deck was incredible, and it was the perfect location to witness the sunset and sunrise. The hosts were very kind and generous, and the food from the room service was great! Highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling to Joshua Tree, and I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Check them out!!

We stayed at The Castle House in campsite #1 on our RV trip to Joshua Tree. The campground is breathtaking with beautiful views of the mountains and incredible stargazing at night. It’s an incredibly clean, quiet, and well kept space! The location is a short drive from the park, a few horseback riding spots, and great restaurants/shopping. The hosts were so responsive and provided amazing recommendations for the area! They are truly the best and I cannot recommend staying with them enough! If you’re looking for a nice place to stay while immersing yourself in nature on your next camping/glamping trip I highly recommend this spot! This was a great and convenient place to stay! My husband and I stayed in one of the castle towers and it was perfect. Cozy and had everything we needed. The views of sunrise and sunset were both incredible, and the host responded quickly to any questions we had. Just a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park.

We rented the Bungalow. Interior was as shown on its website. I’d read some very negative reviews before I booked the place, but maybe management paid attention and made changes. The house was clean, beds nicely made, and the bathrooms and kitchens were clean. We used their grill, which had not been scrubbed, but I’d anticipated that and brought an overlay grate so we could have a good experience. We paid for the rental and cleaning upfront. It was expensive but worth it. We were able to lie on the ground to see the stars that night.

Our family of 5 stayed in 2 yurts and had an amazing experience!! The property is so beautiful and unique. We got to watch a beautiful moonrise and stargaze each night. The desert/boho vibe was just what we were looking for! The hosts are very nice, responsive and attentive too! Definitely recommend experiencing this place.

We stayed a couple of nights here during Spring Break for our son. I was surprised to find the deal we did on this whole house. ||Pros:|Pricing was great at such a short notice.|Great location - minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park entrance.|Easy to find|Home gym in the garage was great|Lights all around the house makes one feel safe especially if it is a new location|Easy to get a hold of the people running the place|Hot tub|Laundry machines available in-house ||Cons:|Cleaning fee is on the higher side - especially given that the utensils, silverware and other kitchen items were dirty. We had to rewash a bit of the items.|Not all kitchen essentials were available e.g. salt (basic kitchen necessity for this type of rental)|Outside could have been cleaner|Porch light was completely missing - seems like it was taken out for some work and never got installed back|No pool|Breakfast offered for a price was of poor selection and over priced|Beddings and sheets were still in the laundry machines and the garage sink area||House is decently staged. We MAY stay here again but the little things and attention to detail misses are somethings that doesn't make a guest feel great.
