Really love this inn! it is under new ownership and they’ve done a great job retaining its special flare and hospitality. They supply beach chairs and towels (just bring your own umbrella or rent one right on the beach). They have complimentary bikes in different shapes and sizes! Within an easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, you do not need to get in a car the entire time if you don’t want! The inn is completely modernized, yet tastefully designed to evoke a time gone by. The rooms are bright, airy and decorated with great attention to detail to convey a relaxed Victorian charm. Super neat and clean with beautiful bathrooms (and many rooms with balconies). The breakfasts are excellent and nutrition conscious, served in a lovely dining room or in the enchanting brick courtyard. The Carriage House Inn is one of those special places that I hope thrives! It is the kind of place where it is fun to return and try different rooms with each stay because all are beautiful and unique from one another. We’ve been twice and are planning to return next summer and also considering a stay in the off season (which would also be a great time to explore historic Ocean Grove).

Love the Carriage House. We've stayed before with previous owners, this was first visit under new ownership. Staff is welcoming and breakfast is fresh and delicious. The decor in the rooms is quaint and rooms are comfortable. Great location to beach and a walk over to Asbury Park or Bradley Beach. Will be back again!

Cathy the manager has been a gracious hostess and can’t do enough for us to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Olga and Teresa do an excellent job at keeping the place spotless. The breakfasts are delicious! The convenience of having beach chairs and towels is fantastic and unique in Ocean Grove. It’s only one block to the beach and many rooms and verandas have ocean views.

The Carriage House is a great place to stay in Ocean Grove. It's walking distance to the beach and town where there are great restaurants, shops, and ice cream! Room 17 was very clean with a nice porch and toiletries available for use. ||The breakfast is phenomenal with homemade egg and French toast specialties. They also have muffins, bakery goods, fresh fruit and yogurt, coffee, teas, and more. You can use the fridge for your own food and there's a nice bathroom available for use after the beach and before you head home. ||We've been to the Carriage House numerous times and will definitely return again.

It was a perfect bed and a perfect stay. I loved my private balcony. There was also a front porch to gather with new friends and the side yard for early morning coffee. Food was excellent. Cathy, the manager, accommodated special diets. A variety for breakfast met me each morning. Freshly baked cookies aroma filled the downstairs each afternoon. My only complaint- I wanted to stay longer. I will be back.

This B&B has a delicious breakfast with homemade egg and french toast entrees, pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt, muffins, coffee and teas. The rooms are clean with great amenities, including some with porches, nice toiletries, sheets, and towels. They have a fridge/freezer for guests to use. There is a beautiful bathroom for use by residents after a day at the beach and before you drive home. The Carriage House is walking distance to town and the beach. They have discounted beach badges, sand chairs, beach towels, and bikes for guests. We've been coming here for a few years now and are never disappointed. We highly recommend this B&B and look forward to more stays.

My wife and I have been coming to the Carriage House for the past 4 years. This year there were new owners and my wife and I were a little concerned if the atmosphere would be different. Cathy(the manager) was great and very welcoming. The breakfast was perfect. There was fresh fruit, yogurt, whole grain muffins, pastries, baked eggs, plus much more. There was anything a person could want. Pretty much everything was the same. The charm of the Carriage House was still there. We will definitely back next year. So thank you Cathy, and the owner's daughter for making our stay a pleasant one.

We had an excellent visit to the carriage house. We’ve been coming for 10 years and never been disappointed. This year there was a change of management and they did not miss a beat! The manager was super accommodating and very attentive to our needs making our visit there very comfortable. we had two rooms one was a little small. Next year we will go for a second room with a deck which has great views and is very peaceful. We will be back next year!
