Small easy to overlook outside, with a minimal inside. You'll usually need a reservation, bit ordering takeaway is a fantastic option. Generous portions, good seasoning, and well cooked. Will happily be going again

We went there with another couple and all of us had a bad experience. We heard so many people talking about it, we decided to give it a try. We tried to order drinks from the menu, but several items on there were not available. We had the same problem with the food menu. We might want to update the menus. Someone order the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, looked and tasted like Alfredo sauce and hardly any Lobster. Another person ordered the Pork Chops menu said 2 when she received the plate only one. The waitress said that the Biggest one so only 1. The other person ordered Sheppards Pie which was in a hot plate which kept spinning he couldn't eat it. Another person ordered fresh fish baked , it was soupy and tasteless. We had to ask the waitress for tarter sauce. Probably will not go back even a free meal

We took a little ride from Ossipee to the Carriage House Bistro & Tavern and it was worth the ride! The food was excellent, drinks were great with a nice beer selection on tap and the staff was awesome. In past experience a lot of local restaurants are looking to turn tables quickly. It was nice to enjoy an evening without being rushed threw a meal. I would definitely add the Carriage House Bistro & Tavern to the top of the list of restaurants to check out. Thank you for a fun night out!

Almost the atmosphere of an old New England tavern. Absolutely the best place for miles (if you're close by).

It was our first time at the Carriage House Tavern and Bistro. The food and service were great! I had the fish tacos which I highly recommend. My wife had the Garlic Chicken & Shrimp Noodles, which she loved. Our waitress Althia was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and very attentive.

We decided to have lunch after a round of golf at Province Lake. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. My sandwich obviously had a homemade bun and the chicken was cooked perfectly and overall was a very delicious sandwich and done very well. My buddy had a grilled chicken Caesar wrap which he said was equally delicious. The waiting staff was attentive and did an excellent job. In this out of the way location to have a cook that does very delicious meals is surprising. The not so great but not a deal breaker necessarily is that the outdoor seating is very close to the road and it would be nicer if it was on a different side of the building. Secondly, the interior was relatively dark and could use a little more natural light during the daytime but there was other seating that was brighter in the building. Overall it seems like a pretty good place if you're out for a drive or done playing golf and in the area.

Service was sort of iffy, but I admit it might have been because our server seemed to be a little overwhelmed. Totally understandable. My husband and I ordered the bar jam, which was really delicious, but I was hoping for something a little more decadent or higher quality than the toasted/slightly burnt slices of French bread that accompanied it. We also ordered the coconut chicken tenders as an appetizer. I felt the coconut topping was rather run of the mill, and the chicken itself was a little dry/stringy. They gave us a very small amount of dipping sauce and when we asked for another type, they said it wasn't available so we had to settle for something else, which was again, serviceable. I ordered the orange chili lo mein, and while I understand that it's not exactly a Chinese food place, I was hoping for something a little bit tastier than what I ordered. It was good enough to eat, but I wouldn't order it again if I returned. Drinks were made to order and tasted delicious.

Our family of 7 went in on sat night. Only one other table was occupied. The fish we got was raw. Like really raw. Cole slaw was plain cabbage and a little carrot. No sauce flavor of any kind. My fish tacos were missing the sour cream and I pointed it out to the waitress and she argued with me and told me that it may have slid off the side???? Not a chance. I asked for some and she walked away rolling her eyes!!! I was flabbergasted but since I didn't want to be a bother I let it go. They compted the fish and gave us 2 desserts on the house. I definitely won't be going back.

I visited this business with a friend, who came here often. It is a small, Christian owned bakery/diner. Their selection of sandwiches may be small, but delicious! The prices are very reasonable, and my friend and I had a nice quiet time. Many of my
