The Cabana Inn Sarasota - Motel in Sarasota - 2525 S Tamiami Trail, USA

The rooms are a decent size, the best thing about the bathroom is the large conter top & the worst thing about the bathroom/room is that the bathtub is so old the tile (or whatever it's made of) is actually cracking & chipping & will cut ur feet if u dnt use a shower mat for protection.

The Cabana Inn is a gem, located just off Duval St., it makes for a wonderful place to escape to. The pool and hot tub are constantly cleaned. The happy hour they host daily is a great way to get to know other guests. Patrick and all othe staff were kind and friendly. I will look no further when booking in Key West. Thank you for the accommodating stay. We will be back!

Much nicer than some reviews say. Rooms are older but clean, have everything you need, place is pretty quiet most of the time. If you need a place to live for a little bit while saving up for your own place it's perfect. The manager has been wonderful to me but I have a feeling she can handle business if you cause a problem.

Since new management has been there, the place is improved considerably. They are on top of fixing things that come up quickly. It's an older building but still clean and free of pests. Great location, especially if you don't have a car being close to everything you need.

I visited this place on a Sunday October 20th to be exact which was my 40th birthday there wasn't many people but my cousin (whom I share the same Bdy with) had a birthday party there that night. It was very nice, comfortable and PLENTY of room to move around in there and the Bar Services was GREAT! The drinks are a lil' watered dwn but other than that...I TOTALLY ENJOYED MYSELF, A VERY NICE CLUB AND CLUB OWNERS!! 💯👍🏽💯👍🏽

Very easy to spot from the main road of US 41. Under new ownership and is currently undergoing a renovation of the property. There's a lot of potential for this venue but unfortunately it's not a safe place for a date or children. I asked for a cocktail and was told that there unprepared to make anything fancy. So I had to settle for a Corona which came in a can no less. They have no operating soda gun and ran out of limes for my Corona. Let's give it a few months and see what happens.

Til they treat me with dignity and respect they get 1 star and they shouldn't have that. Im not petty but Ive thrown all types of events and even once fell to a rough patch having to stay at the hotels til I got my house. When Kelly Shafer was there the place wasnt that bad actually it was alot of fun now idk what to say but I dont vibe with it anymore cause they try me like I did them wrong or some but I was told its very many not just me. I hope the place improves and wish it the best of success cause it has potential but not for me anymore especially everytime I go there after the guy that runs it told me in front of like 5 to 6 people that I was welcome there then his Lady still tells me "You gotta go you gotta go" everytime I walk in there even if with my family. Thats lame and unnecessary.

historic old motel, my family has been staying here for decades. very convenient location, cool bar and pool.
