We had to double check to see if they were open. We arrived around 2pm. They were. One other table at the time. Our waitress was super nice. Tended to us promptly. Our drinks never went dry. I ordered the Elk Burger with waffle fries, both were spot on. My husband ordered the Tenderloin with whatever the waitress liked, which he got thin fries. The tenderloin was average sized, my husband likes the huge ones, the ones that take up the whole plate alone. So he was alittle let down at the size. Great flavor, breading and thickness. The atmosphere was very dark. Great for a nighttime lounge/restaurant. During the early afternoon, it was just too much, to dark, then walking out to a bright blinding snowy cold day. I had to really hold the menu up close to read all the items. Service was outstanding. The food was good. This was on our bucketlist for awhile, so thanks for giving us a good 1st dining experience.
2 stars because table service was excellent. The food was 1 star and except for the appetizer was absolutely terrible. We ordered ribeye and for just under $30 I got the cheapest cut of steak that was very greasy and 80% fat and gristle. We also got food to go and had this for a BLT when we got home. It’s equally burnt on both sides.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! What a local treasure. Food was fantastic. I highly recommend their burgers. Creative flavors and super tasty. Cooked to perfection. The waffle fries are great. A friend had the chef salad and it was filled with yummy items. Get the ranch dressing...super delicious!
It’s my first time here and the food and service were good. Maya did an excellent job taking care of us and served us well. We got elk burger and sweet potato fries, pork loin sandwich, onion hay stack as appetizer. I enjoyed the house made ranch and Mayo sauces as well.
Food was decent. Fries not nearly as good as Gator's. Sweet potato fry sauce was different... a hard, cold butter-like substance with sugar & cinnamon mixed in it, prefer a syrup or at least a liquid. Service was good, whenever we could get it. It was a busy Saturday night, & possibly understaffed, expecting that's why. Assuming family-owned, a young man (early teens maybe?) served our appetizer-- dropped & ran. Had to get up to ask for silverware & napkins. Liked all the TVs & sports bar atmosphere.
Above average food, decent menu selection, good service and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Prices are a tad high but not unreasonable. Special recognition for their Amazing crab rangoon pizza! A must try for the true pizza connoisseur!
I absolutely love this restaurant! It is my favorite restaurant in Burlington/West Burlington. The food is always great, I love the atmosphere, and the servers are always very friendly. They check on you frequently to see if you need anything, and they are knowledgeable, accommodating, and helpful. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!
The crab rangoon burger is KILLER. Absolutely loved the spin dip too. Our server was super friendly, and quick to help us out and replace a drink when we had a spill at our table. The menu has been significantly updated since I visited last, and I love the burger menu! Can't wait to try the pizza, too!
