The Brick House Inn - Bed & breakfast in Nacogdoches - 522 Virginia Ave, USA

Traveled to Nacogdoches for a volleyball tournament and stayed at the Brickhouse Inn. It was a wonderful experience! David and Ann were great personal and colorful hosts. They went out of their way to be very accommodating. They are longtime residents with deep family roots in Nacogdoches and were a wealth of local historical information. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding both mornings we stayed. Great value for the money and highly recommended!

My wife and I took off for a last minute get away and choose Nacogdoches as our destination. The Brickhouse Inn just happened to have the King Room available so off we went. Ann and David are gracious hosts and excellent cooks. We enjoyed breakfast croissants one morning and Belgium waffles the next. Both were better than you could ever find in a restaurant. The King Room was comfortable and quiet, except for an occasional train. |Highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Nacagdoches.

The Hosts were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. We were there to move our daughter into her apartment so were unable to sit and visit much. We stayed in the King room, which was clean, quite spacious and we found the nights sleep very quiet. The breakfast was simply delicious! A great variety already on the plate of fruit, bread (topped with figs, yummy), croissant with eggs, bacon and cheese and skillet potatoes and your choice of coffee, hot tea or juice.

We stayed at The Brickhouse Inn at the same time as the reviewer who gave them 2 stars. Our experience was far different than theirs. The hosts were welcoming and "folksy". We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them. The bedroom was quite large and the bathroom was exactly what one would expect in an older historic home. The breakfasts were delicious with generous portions and were obviously homemade. As for the hosts not allowing guests to bring people back to the house, we have stayed at many B&Bs and this is a standard rule. I'm sorry the other couple didn't enjoy their stay, but I am rather confused by their harsh review as we spent time visiting them for both of the mornings we were there and they gave no indication that they were displeased. We will definitely stay at The Brickhouse Inn again.

I decided to go on a weekend trip to see Nacogdoches for the first time. ||I chose the Brickhouse Inn due to the reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful B&B. The house was full of antiques and the hosts (Anne and David) were gracious and very helpful. They provided the history of the home as well as the city. ||The breakfasts were wonderful and I even got to take a doggy bag home with my leftovers!||I cannot wait to go back to stay, see Anne and David, and to eat breakfast!||A truly wonderful place!

The Brick House Inn is the oldest brick house in the oldest town in Texas. It is filled with antiques, many family heirlooms. The breakfasts are amazing - delicious and filling. It has three lovely guest bedrooms. All rooms are serviced and restored to check-in readiness each day. David and Anne are delightful hosts. The Brickhouse Inn has become my home away from home. I first stayed in November 2016. The Nortons were so friendly and welcoming that I have returned weekly as my job brings me to Nacogdoches. I have stayed in each of the three rooms and each bring its own character and ambiance to the overall environment. Over the year and a half, the Prince Room has become my room and I absolutely love it. I have eaten both dinners and breakfasts and can say without a doubt that Anne is a fabulous cook/chef. In actuality, there is so much food prepared that I always have a snack to carry me through my day at work. I have seen her accommodate not only my strawberry allergy but other guests requests or needs. The snack fridge is stocked with crackers, sodas, waters, and juices for any in-between times. David always has fresh tea along with a story and laugh for me. He usually meets me at outside when I arrive as if I hadn't been there in ages. The couples son, David, who lives there and also host ensures that I feel at home sharing many a meal and conversation. I originally chose a B&B for the security when traveling alone and my love of historical homes. I have continually chosen the Brickhouse Inn because of the family who have opened their home and hearts to me.

We've been B&Bing for the last 30 years and have never found a more hospitable residence. Staying with Anne and David at The Brickhouse Inn is like staying with close friends. They exude hospitality and provide THE BEST breakfasts. The rooms and decor set the tone and allow one to travel back in time. A truly wonderful B&B to experience. When you stay there, ask to visit Logan and Godfrey.
