Nice experience. The food was really good. The fried green tomatoes was awesome, finally a place that knows how to cook them and present on a plate😋. The sweet potatoes bites another great idea. The server was very attentive. The atmosphere was chatty, but chill. The Syracuse Univ. Banner hanging in the upper window 🍊💪🏾#Almamater. Will visit again.
Stopped in for some brew food and drinks. The service was a bit slow, and the blended drinks were not as good of flavor as we anticipated. The Miami Vice was a beautiful display, but the Pina Colada portion was very artificial tasting. We ordered the cheeseburger egg rolls, bowl of ranch flavor popcorn, Buffalo chicken egg rolls, French dip, fried shrimp po' boy, and Charleston style BLT. Overall, the food was great! The cheeseburger egg rolls were exactly like eating a cheeseburger, and the Buffalo chicken ones were great. The ranch popcorn tasted like hidden valley ranch had been sprinkled over the popcorn, which was nothing special-an item I would skip. The french dip was exactly as expected, and the fries were hot and delicious. If you order a side of any dips, you will get charged extra. The fried shrimp po' boy could have used a few more shrimp, but the sweet potato tater tots were fantastic. The Charlestown BLT was a great way to experience the fried green tomato on a classic sandwich. Overall, everyone enjoyed the food.
Good food and an easy vibe. Not being in the heart of Charleston tourist district adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Great spot for a nosh before or after a concert. Aimed at keeping the locals local. Food was familiar and good. Try the Reuben.
We sat at the bar and had lunch and beer. The male bartender was funny but not overly friendly, you know like the ones that won't stop talking. We were visiting from out of state, and didn't know this was a huge browns hang out. It got intense but in the best way. Plus the food was great.
Very nice bar close to the Charleston Visitor’s center. Lots of sandwiches on the menu for lunch. I selected the salad and added shrimp & Caesar dressing. Mostly good - shrimp was awesome. But whomever prepared the salad put a lot of brown & decaying lettuce in. I picked around and took out what I saw, but did not finish the salad. The bartender did give me a discount - good for him. Restaurant was lively sports bar. Restrooms ADA & clean. I might go there again, if I was a local.
If you are looking g for a sports bar, look no further. This place has it all. With a close proximity to king street, this fantastic sports bar has great food at an affordable price. The wings, boneless or not, are on point... the sauces are legit. Burgers and sandwiches are fire. The staff is amazing. Ask for Pat, Matt, or Kayla If you want excellent bartending service. Salads are scrumptious, and the fries are delicious. Parking garage next door.
This was the best restaurant we went to during our time in Charleston. Went on Thursday evening for drinks and then took food back to the hotel. The bartender/server (Matty?) was the absolute best and friendliest person we'd met and made sure our experience at the Brick was outstanding. The food was very good and better priced than anywhere else we'd gone. Charleston is an expensive city and UT was nice to finally find a place that doesn't break the bank! Went in again this morning before leaving for the airport even though we like to try new places for every meal when traveling. This one is tried and true! Had Country Poutine, fried green tomatoes, Low Country burger, shrimp Po' Boy and the Drunken chicken club sandwich. Would recommend everything!
Great spot for lunch, good food and drinks, Low Country Burger was awesome!!!
