We had a great dinner. The service was fast and friendly. I had a delicious burger and my girl had a chicken sandwich. The fries were crispy and had a really good seasoning on them. The onion rings were cooked to crispy perfection. The beer selection was good and the prices were reasonable.
Solid 3.5 stars. We had pulled pork and chicken sandwiches and also a salad. Tried a beer flight as well: Amber, Blonde, Ale, and Hefe See pic. Everything was slightly above average.
A bit annoying that we arrived a few minutes before Happy Hour but “because of their computer” we could not order until exactly 2:00 to get happy hour pricing. Seems like he could bring us our beer at 1:55 (to make the customer happy) and enter the order at 2:00 (to make the computer happy).
Just stopped in and tried the Taproom forbthe first time. Service was great, food was great, beer selection good. The burger was delicious and the fries really good. They have a special rub on the fries that seems almost sweet and salty??? Love the fireplace for a cold day.
Decadent execution with chicken and waffles. Burgers, fries clearly using premium ingredients you'll taste and appreciate. Humble, knowledgeable, friendly waitstaff. Solid core beer offering. One of the best elusive browns in the west. Please can you come to san diego and show them how to treat people and serve quality with care and community.
Charming spot in downtown Reno that offers a solid selection of local craft beers, good food menu items and very solid prices for what you get.
We came on a football Sunday and it wasn’t crazy crowded (was cold but there is TONS of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice), and we’re served promptly and efficiently at the bar. Had some BC brews and their brownie dessert, all of which were tasty.
Bartenders even dressed up in funny Halloween costumes, and their was a very warm, “Cheers”-esque vibe this particular day with lots of laughs and camaraderie.
Will certainly go back when friends are in town!
Love the atmosphere here! All of the counters, benches, booths and stools are hand carved wood. It feels so rustic. The food is delicious and high quality. We LOVED the fried pickles. And the beer is just better than most places. I also got the tomato bisque soup which was thick and so flavorful! My boyfriend ordered the BC burger and it was really good, but he got a maximum of about 6 french fries with it. So he felt "shorted" as he put it. Other than that it was a great experience. Also if you're there please take the time to go check out the beer garden!! Sooo awesome.
The service was not bad the way the recent reviews have said. The food however was far from appealing. My nachos were a plate of chips which were put on top of a pool of that fake cheese, with a little more on top and all the nacho ingredients were cold, it was not baked with said ingredients. Very strange process. My friend asked for tater tots with no toppings and was okay with being charged full price for loaded tots, but no more than 10 tots arrived on the plate. Fine for drinks, but do not order food.
Great beer selection! I personally like the burgers here. The one thing that gives this above 5 ☆ is the pickle chips. They are spears cut small with amazing breading and ranch. Absolutely awesome. If you go, i hope you get to sit on the picnic table between the trees & plants. Makes you feel secluded and private. I love this place for the drinks, food & service! 5 ☆ !!!!!
