The Brew Room Locust - Brewpub in Locust - 175 Ray Kennedy Dr, USA

While visiting family in North Carolina, we decided to get lunch, and they took us to the Brew Room. This place is fairly new. I think it's less than 2 years old. They serve a variety of items like burgers, sandwiches, tot bowls, different hot dogs,etc. The fam and I ordered, "you're a chicken" tot bowl, signature beer battered fish and chips, and the smashed onion and beer cheddar cheese burger. I ate the tots, which were good I loved how the toppings didn't ruin the texture of the tots. The tots had brewpub chicken, queso fresco, pico de gallo, and house ranch.Every tot I ate was good and crispy!!! The burger was really good, something about the simplicity really hit well with me and Lil man especially since he claims he doesn't like cheese, he at most of the burger, and i did my motherly duties by helping him out 😆. The burger had caramelized onions, signature aioli, and beer cheddar. The side with the burger was sweet potato waffle fries. My dad ended up getting the fish and chips. I only got a chance to taste the chips, which were really good, I loved that they were shaped like round chips. They were well seasoned and crispy. I would go back to try other things on thier menu for sure.

200% satisfied!! The energy is super chill. The workers were all super friendly from the moment I walked through the door. Freddy treated my children and I extremely well. He was kind and patient. I was going to order sweet potato fries then I was like no because they didn’t have sugar. To my surprise, there was a special seasoning on it and I was able to try one. He sold me on the sweet potato fries. Then when I received the fries, I didn’t know it came with a sauce. It was delicious!! The prices here are super reasonable as well. All our food was superb. I have ZERO complaints. I will be back for sure and bring others here too!!! This is my kinda place! I ordered the brewpub chicken + bacon, the pulled pork sandwich (togo), a chicken tender kids meal with house chips (great), and a grilled cheese with tater tots kids meal.

The fish and shrimp tacos were amazing!!! The Bloody Mary special on Sunday’s was a great deal and the old fashioned was made to perfection minus the luxardo cherries. Dessert menu sounds amazing too. Highly recommend and we will return soon.

We came here for a friend’s birthday—the weather was perfect and we loved the food/drinks! The only thing that I would say that this establishment could improve is the outdoor area in back. There are is plenty of seating both inside and outside, but the outdoor area in the back could use some shade, fire pits, plants/trees and awnings, because there are Adirondack chairs on gravel, but no place for shade. It has a lot of potential for a great area, though.

The Brew Room does exactly what our country needs. It brings people together. Sitting here at this moment I see Grandparents, New Parents, Dog Parents, Cowboys, Hippies, Bikers, Accountants and Suburbinites's.... all getting along. Having beer and food, getting along, listening to music, on this 72 degree January night. The staff is great and the food is delicious too.

Second visit, ordered beer flight. I appreciate that they have this option, as it gives a chance to try small amounts of beers I might not typically try. Had the giant pretzel, which was excellent, one small cheese dip on the side , a second one would've been appreciated ,as it is a big pretzel! Met one of the owners,Chris, very welcoming and obviously loves what he does. It was early(5 -5:30) on a Saturday, met a friend , and already it was busy . Staff all seemed friendly and knowledgeable, answered any questions I had . I'll be back!

The Brew Room in Locust is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. They have a wide variety of brews including some that they brew in house, perfect for any beer enthusiast. The ambiance is just right, whether you're looking for a laid-back hangout spot or a place to catch up with friends. So, if you're in Locust, don't miss out on The Brew Room.

I've been twice and I give it two thumbs up. Great beer selection. Good prices. Yummy menu items (I've tried the sausage, the chollo tots, the gas station dog, fried pickles, and the Doritos with beer cheese and chili. I liked them all I am surprised how much I like the beer cheese because I do not normally like it. It's very good. My only complaint is I wish they had a few more wine selections for those of us that can't do beer. They do have wine but it would be nice if they had a couple options of each.
