The Breezy - American restaurant in Greenwood Lake - 620 Jersey Ave, USA

My friends and I went out on the lake on a boat and we stopped by The Breezy for some drinks and to use the restrooms. They were the nicest people and super accommodating. They even helped with my friend's impromptu proposal by singing and playing the piano and having the staff get in on filming and helping. They really made us feel important. Definitely have to go for dinner one day!

The food was amazing. Unfortunately, the waitress was not experienced enough with the menu to answer questions and didnt come back with an answer. The food took a LONG time. Unacceptable amount of time. Our two meals took move then an hour. We were told there is someone new in the kitchen. It tasted great when it arrived. We will likely go again eventually but not anytime super soon. The staff was very friendly!! Management and Owner but apologized and made right.

The rooms were clean and the lake view was nice. But the out side areas leading to the rooms was incredibly dirty with dead bugs and cob webs. The outside of the building looked run down. The rooms over look the restaurant out side eating area, so someone eating out side can see right in the only window you have to look out and there is no common areas just for over night guests. The restaurant is not open for breakfast nor is it open Monday or Tuesday. The food served be the restaurant was not very good tasting and more bread than real food. If you are a smoker you need to go to the corner of the property to do so but this area is not under cover and it rained much of the visit. This is not a place I would stay again nor would I recommend this to friend and family.

We really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but instead we were very disappointed, the stars are because the place is nice. _________ At the restaurant's request, we are providing a more detailed and accurate depiction of our recent visit. We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday evening, around 7 pm, filled with anticipation and eager to indulge in a satisfying dining experience. However, our visit left much to be desired, and regrettably, we cannot rate our experience higher than two stars. Upon perusing the menu, we opted for a selection of items, hoping to savor the flavors and ambiance promised by the establishment. Our disappointment began with the arrival of the French fries, which, unfortunately, arrived soggy and lacking the crispness we anticipated. Next, we sampled the onion soup, which, while passable, failed to impress with its lackluster flavor profile. However, the real low point of our meal was the clam chowder, which was erroneously touted as the soup of the day. Not only did it take an exorbitant amount of time to reach our table, but upon arrival, it was served cold, devoid of flavor, and frankly, unappetizing. Furthermore, our dissatisfaction continued with the buffalo wings, a classic favorite that fell short of expectations. Not only were they drenched in grease, but some were undercooked, rendering them nearly inedible. While we appreciate the efforts of the staff and the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, the subpar quality of the food greatly detracted from our overall experience. We sincerely hope that our feedback serves as constructive criticism, as we believe in the potential of this establishment to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Pleasant staff, great view of the lake. Had a cheese steak for lunch, I would rate it an 8.5 out of 10. We will definitely go back.

Sadly service was awful!!! The waitress forgot to put the order in, and realized it one hour later! Wanted to comp desserts BUT we didn't order desserts!! Also, way too many flies. The food was NOT worth the wait! The only thing nice was the view. So sad.

Beautiful location for lunch or dinner. The food was excellent. Go now, because I'm sure on the nice summer day it's going to be very tough getting a table outside overlooking the Lake.

Unfriendly to Families with Kids** I recently visited this establishment with my family and was extremely disappointed with how we were treated. After sitting for almost 45 minutes, the owner approached us and asked if we could keep our toddler seated. We politely explained that he was eating and while we watched him. The owner then shockingly responded with "I'm the [expletive] owner" and walked away. This was incredibly upsetting and inappropriate. As a law enforcement officer, I felt that we were being judged from the moment we walked in because we were a party of eight who had spent the day by the water and weren't dressed formally. If you have kids, I would strongly advise against visiting this place. The lack of understanding and hostility towards families is unacceptable. We will not be returning
