We were originally set to enjoy a few days in Charleston, but Hurricane Debby changed that. We pivoted to Richmond and had an incredible time -- with an absolutely awesome experience at The Boulevard Inn. Mitch and Roni were great hosts, and the breakfast prepared each morning by Mitch was excellent! Afternoon happy hour hosted by Jeremy was also excellent. Food and beverage superb during the stay. The Inn is spotless and as great as the pictures show, if not even nicer! Centrally located to everything. When Richmond is right for you, ensure the quality of your trip by booking here. You won't regret it.
As soon as I stepped into the Boulevard Inn, I felt I was instantly transported to magical and whimsical dimensions.
Jeffrey and beautiful blue hydrangeas greeted us with beauty, warmth, and welcome.
The place is so chic, and it feels like we are visiting our good friends.
The hospitality and warmth, comfort, kindness, caring, and welcoming are the feelings we felt during our stay.
We loved and adored everything about this boutique hotel. I, especially, loved the wine tasting, and my son loved breakfast.
Mitch’s warm smile and his delicious quiche and scrambled eggs were superb!
They genuinely pay attention to detail and give warm hospitality!
We highly recommend this gorgeous place whenever you are visiting Richmond.
It is the perfect location for museums, shops, restaurants, cafes, and a bookstore.
Not to mention the convenience of parking your car right behind the Inn.
Thank you, the Boulevard Inn, for making us feel at home. We truly enjoyed the stay, and we will return with happiness.
Just spent 3 lovely days here - beautiful B&B. Mitch and Ronie have renovated this wonderful old house and the accommodation provided is just lovely, they have thought of everything. Delicious breakfast each morning (love the Greek yoghurt and fresh berries), and wine and cheese/charcuterie each evening, 5-6pm. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, and we slept well. Thanks also to Geoffrey who was a lovely host every evening and providing tips for eating out and making bookings. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay as we celebrated my birthday! The Boulevard Inn is beautiful - a wonderful blend of old charm and modern comfort! The Bon Air room was perfect for us. We loved the shower and deep tub combination since I prefer baths and my husband prefers showers. Breakfast was delicious - an assortment of pastries, fruit, and freshly cooked options. Jeffrey and Rose made sure we had everything we needed!
My husband and I stayed for two nights at The Boulevard Inn when visiting my sister in Richmond. Glowing reviews on Trip Advisor led to my booking our reservation and we were not disappointed. Owners Roni and Mitch mingled with guests during breakfast and the pastries, yogurt, fruit, and frittatas that they offered us were all exceptionally fresh and delicious. Jeffrey was our personable host during happy hour serving several wine options and charcuterie and assisting with dinner reservations and ideas on activities in the area. The inn itself is beautiful and our room, The Boulevard Suite, has a huge outside balcony with comfortable seating and the largest bathroom we have had at any location other than our home. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and an easy drive to Maymont Park, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, and the many downtown attractions. We have already booked another stay for October. Highly recommended.
The Boulevard Inn is a lovely place to stay. The Inn is tastefully decorated blending new touches and conveniences with the old charm of the house. The original stained glass windows are beautiful. The amenities are wonderful too. I enjoyed the breakfast pastries, cappuccinos and wine & cheese happy hour along with pleasant conversations with the other guest and the owners. The front porch swing was also another favorite of mine. The inn keepers hospitality is top notch and the inn is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood a block away from Cary street with all the great restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Richmond.
Absolutely lovely place in a great location, close to great restaurants, shopping and museums. We walked everywhere. Mitch and Roni are the perfect morning and pre-trip hosts, and Jeffrey took wonderful care of us in the afternoon and evening. Breakfast and Happy Hour offerings are yummy and generous. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are beautifully appointed. I stayed in the Boulevard Suite which has a mini fridge, Nespresso machine, an expansive balcony and a huge bathroom with double sinks. My friend stayed in the Mayfair which she loved because it's on the back of the house and therefore quieter. Look no further.
This was our fifth visit to this beautiful inn. Doesn't that say it all?! We plan our visits to Richmond around availability at the inn. The house is a treasury of antiques and thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and water by the bedside. The evening Happy Hour and breakfast selections are always delicious. Mitch and Jeffrey take such good care of us. We feel like extended family. The Boulevard Inn is our home away from home in Richmond. Thank you for your warm hospitality.
