The Bottleshop is a gem in Redwood City that surpasses all expectations! It feels like a place where people really do know your name and the staff gets to know you & your individual style of wine. Becoming a wine member and understanding wines far and wide across the world is their niche. I cannot say enough about their friendly staff and their knowledge of fine wine!

Amazing!! Customer service is comforting and friendly. Wine is delicious. Food is perfect. I recommend the food-wine pairing and the charcuterie boards. Also, they loved my dog.

Jon and Christian and incredible. They are passionate about what they do and it shows in all aspects. They make wonderful recommendations and I love coming with my friends to see what they have in store for ua next.

Very pleasant visit and thoroughly enjoyed the diverse flight for $10 which is taken off the bottle price. Unfortunately, there aren't any non-alcoholic drinks on the menu but off the menu they were happy to accommodate with a very interesting and refreshing pea puree and ginger beer. Service was very friendly and attentive explaining all the wines. Olives we're pleasantly marinated although some felt not so fresh.

I just don't have enough good things to say about our experience at The BottleShop this evening. I recommend it thoroughly to anyone even halfway considering it. I called to ask a few questions about the place - I spoke to John directly and it turned into many questions and a delightful conversation. My colleagues and I arrived and were immediately seated and served. We each had different wines which complemented our meals perfectly. John served us personally and made excellent recommendations for our experience. I chose the Pairing is Caring starter with my Chardonnay (salmon mousse on a crunchy toast with apple butter and teensy greens - I don't even like salmon and it was the most delicious thing I've had in quite some time) and the Chicken Tikka Masala Potpie. The potpie had a little bit of a kick to it (I'm a complete weenie when it comes to spice, so that's on me) and was served with a side of dressed greens. On their own, the greens would have been too salty, but they were the perfect companion to the Tikka Masala - absolutely perfect. The other diners at my table chose a sparkling wine and a Pinot noir, with the salmon and the beef Wellington, respectively. Both plates were scraped clean by the end of the meal. For what we received (lovely wines, a delightful and welcoming atmosphere, thoughtfully prepared food), the price was surprisingly reasonable. This was a wonderful evening - I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my time at the BottleShop!

Cute place with great pricing on wine and awesome food. Not the usual mark up for enjoying wine with your meal. Great outdoor dining and now the inside is open. I will be back. :)

We held a pre-wedding welcome party here and they did a fabulous job. The food, the wine and the service were exceptional. In addition, because there is limited seating, a lot of mixing and socializing occurred. Fabulous!
