Over the past 3 months I've come here with my girlfriend every weekend for brunch. I like the modernized look, dark wood furniture, and wrap-around bar. The service is standard, nothing out of this world but enough to get by. The food tastes great, the plating shows their attention to detail, and the price won't break your bank. I recommend anyone coming to Madison to check this place out!
Yum! Our first time here. I had the shepherds pie and was delicious and filling. My dining companions all had the Friday fish fry, and all were extremely satisfied. We would come back again.
Restaurant Week at The Borough Beer Co. & Kitchen. It was a three course meal for $30. You get an appetizer, entree and dessert. If you didn't want to do the Restaurant Week 3 meal couse, you can order of their regular menu. Overall, it was OK. We did ask for them to take back the molten lava cake and the waitress apologize and took it off our bill, so we appreciated that. Service was great. Food just ok.
A nice spot and a definite upgrade from Rockhound. High quality food at a good price, and their house-made beer (at least the pilsner, I didn't try the others) are really good. Also, you can tell the place is well-run because the staff seem really happy to work there. Will definitely come back in the future
Cannot rave enough about this place!!! Laura was our waitress she was so kind and attentive. Even with a busy brunch rush she made sure we were taken care of. Everything was great from the atmosphere to food and drinks. Everything was great. It was hard to decide what to chose because it is all delightful. Highly recommend!!! Try the breakfast bread pudding you won’t be disappointed
It was quiet on a mid Saturday morning and plenty of space to fit our group of 7. The food took a little time to get to us, but when it did, it was delicious. My favorite thing on the plate was the salad because it was that good. The eggs benedict were splendid as well.
First time there. Ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with peach jam and bacon. Yum. Also the Cheeseburger. Neither were very big ( read lite lunch ) but came with lots of fries. Will go back to try more of the lunch menu.
