The Boils WMA - Wildlife park in Gainesboro - 2036 Roaring River Rd, USA

Popular place for being in the middle of no where. Drive really pretty coming in from the South. Treacherous windy roads up the mountain in the last leg of the trip. This is a local hang out spot and not easy to find. Worn trails leading in and small parking area. People make fire pits, put up shade tents, inter-tube, swim and fish here. No fees. No over site. Good free country fun!

Absolutely gorgeous place!! Best creek spot we've found and some good shallow areas for young children too!

I live just 12 miles from the boils. I have been going Everytime I have a chance. I recommend anyone who wants a little serenity to visit there.

Place was great. Clean, no beer bottles, cans or needles. Water was clean. You could go barefooted to swim. Sorry. No photos

Beautiful creek with great scenery. Perfect swimming hole for kids and families. Stream looks like it comes down from the mountains and bubbles out from the rocks. Very nice.

Excellent spot, seems to be more crowded on the weekend, but still had some room to play. There was a black snake in the river one time when we visited, but I didn't get a good look before it went away.

Good access to river. Good place to fish or just chill.

We took our puppy and went swimming. We all had a blast. It was just his second time swimming so he was a little anxious but he stayed in the water up to his chest. A great day all the way around.
