The Boat shares the same parking lot as Pho Bac. In fact, m my waiter shared with me that the owners of each are brothers. The main reason to eat here is for the garlic chicken and rice. The Boat is a fine example of a doing few things very well. The menu is small, with only noodles and a waffle dessert as additional options. And yet the chicken is flavorful and well prepared. The waffles are accompanied by whipped salted coconut, and is delicious and fun to eat. The dining room is small and cozy. So be prepared to wait for a table when you arrive, because The Boat seems to be a popular destination. However don't let that stop you - this place is worth the wait.

This is a great place to try! I love the food and the service. The inside is a bit small and cozy but definitely still a good atmosphere. The menu was a bit hard to understand but looking at the photos helped along with asking the staff questions. This isn’t a run back to but I could see myself potentially visiting again. The soup and salad are a nice addition. The rice tasted a little under seasoned for my preference. The chicken tasted great although it wasn’t that easy to eat. Minor detail that some people probably wouldn’t even mind. The flavors are all there, this place was a good visit.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL! Easily one of the best meals I've ever had. The menu is small so the focus is all on what they have and you can certainly tell because the quality shines here! The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The chrysanthemum salad was lovely. Even the broth for the noodles was delicious. It was plenty of food, filled up, satisfied, and with leftovers for $18!? The pandan tea was also great though I wish it was a little larger. Still I can't complain because every single thing about this meal was amazing. I will make a point to come here every time I'm in Seattle and I will recommend it to everyone.

The Boat restaurant in Seattle offers Vietnamese cuisine. Parking can be a challenge due to the restaurant's small size on a boat, but the staff, despite being busy, are kind and patient. I particularly enjoyed the chicken with rice, salad, and the delicious pho soup. While the pandan tea was just okay for me, it's worth a try! Give it a shot!

I thought it was great! Got the garlic chicken rice with egg (costs extra) and the pandan waffles. The skin on the chicken was crispy and peanut-y, and the meat went well with either fish sauce or the included broth. The waffles had a mochi-like texture almost and the cloud cream reminded me of the salted cheese foam/creama you get at boba places. Delicious! You can park in the Pho Bac lot if you can find a spot, and will want to put your name down on the tablet by the door if there’s a wait.

Small place, small parking. We got lucky and found a parking spot right away and got seated right a way as well. It was busy and lunch time so we lucked out. Food came out about 10-15 mins after ordering. I got the dry noodles with the chicken and a fried egg. Fried egg is a MUST. Oh my goodness! The Chicken skin was so crispy and meat was juicy. Half a chicken per order. I love garlic! My husband and son order it with the rice. My dry noodles were the perfect texture and very flavorful. They give you knife to cut the chicken, but I just picked it up and used my hands. It's finger licking good lol! Must try when in the neighborhood.

Overall: It's OK, but not worth the price. First time here and the vibes/atmosphere were great. It's a chill place with nice lighting and music. The building is shaped like a boat. The service was lackluster. Our server barely said a word to us and never checked in even though we needed assistance. The food and drinks themselves were hit or miss for me. There is a limited menu with either chicken or waffles. I had to return my drink and get something else. The noodles were OK, but not something I want to eat again.

No frills garlic fried chicken noodle shop. They only have two items on the menu: garlic chicken and waffles. The garlic fried chicken was well seasoned, crispy and juicy and the egg noodle soup savory! The pineapple waffle was the highlight at the end. Highly recommend!
