Well, I really didn’t want to say anything but this is really bothering me. My husband and I decided we wanted to get out for the evening. So we noticed the Blue Monkey wasn’t packed and the atmosphere was a vibe. We set in our own little corner and ordered a meal. Everything was good except the Cole slaw. Definitely a no go. So our waiter Chris….who was astounding, brought us out the twice baked potato. Just as soon as we were about to jump into it, a beautifully, brown house roach crawled across the table like he lived there. At that point, I wasn’t hungry anymore. We politely paid for our meal, tipped the waiter and left. So we will not be patronizing this establishment in the future. I would like to thank you for your services and wish you well.
Always good food and sevice. Sad they no longer have karaoke night on Thursdays. Parking is not great for this location is the only problem.
Worst place to eat at this year! The food was cold, the service was slow, and then a mandatory 18% service fee!!
No one gets 18%! I don't mind paying for good food and good service, but this was NOT!!
I will never return to this place. They have a parking lot behind them, however customers can not use it. The people drinking at nearby bars can.
I wish that I could give all zero's.
No one should be forced to pay any service fee, we should have that option.
I love simple bar food and this place scores. The food is just fine, atmosphere is solid and the service is absolutely fantastic. The bartenders are so chill and at the same time super attentive. The burgers are very good but the prime beef sandwich is a hidden gem. Don’t tell anyone how good the hot wing rolls are, the place will get overrun.
Great bar/restaurant next to a dog park and the Memphis Farmers Market (on Saturdays).
The chicken fried steak with fried okra and mashed potatoes was pretty basic, but overall good. The pot roast was the best!! So much food and great flavor.
Bartender was good and poured generously.
We went there for lunch/brunch on a Sunday. The service was very good. I had a cheeseburger, and my wife had the chicken Cesar salad. Both orders were good, the salad was excellent.
This was my second time visiting this location. My first time was pleasurable enough that I knew I would be back. This visit exceeded my 1st (mainly due to the bar attendance's attentiveness. The first time it sucked but the food was good). On that first visit we saw a delicious burger being served and on this one, me and my companion had to try it so we ordered the BBQ bacon burger today. I will attest that this burger not only looked delicious but it actually tasted that way. The fries were hot and the burger was juicy, flavorful and as mouthwatering as it looked. Found another hidden spot for a good burger. The spot has a welcoming atmosphere and usually the only people that have been in are at the bar area but the dining area is open also. There is pool area from what I can see. They also have a hot plate special that runs until they close. Overall, I recommend this place for a cozy date, a quick drink or a great meal in general!!
We sat on the patio and it was nice. The inside was busy. Their wasn’t many bugs bothering us and the temp was just right. Our waitress was punctual and nice. Food was cooked just right and flavorful. Drinks were strong too. I’m going to sit in the inside next time!!
This wasn't just dinner, this was a true experience!! Not only was the food really amazing and all locally sourced, but it was the little details and the astounding amount of love and energy the staff and chef put into the evening. The kitchen is ope

Honestly I loved this place Iâve been trying new spots in the city with my birthday coming up and it was fun. Service was very mediocre but I assume itâs because theyâre used to that lil gratuity they get so they donât try hard other than tha

This place was a cute Mexican restaurant to get a quick bite to eat. The brilla tacos were good but I felt like the meat was kind of dry. The queso was very thick and maybe it just needed to heated a little longer. Overall the taste of the foods were
This place is really neat and would be like a giant playground for kids. There are lots of little buildings to go around and enter. Neat and unique swings along the way. They also still had some flowers even with it being November. Just a nice way to
