Super surreal experience. Don’t be like me and forget to check the weather up there before going. It’s 9$ to enter and super dog friendly. They gave my pup a treat upon entering. Your ticket lasts all day. They have a restaurant by the cliff that has warm drinks. Definitely a must see.
Cute pitstop with grand views and quaint gift shop and restaurant. Has nice restrooms and is very accessible. Loved climbing on the mountain tops and getting excellent photos. Will go again. Tickets are affordable. Gift shop attire is expensive.
This was a last minute stop on our list and it didn't disappoint. What a nice story to talk to the kids and an amazing place for pictures. There is an extreme trail but we didn't do it. In the end, a hot cocoa was needed because it was cold. Thankfully, the day was sunny and that was perfect.
Nice overlook on the mountains. You can buy tickets when you come here. They have a small shop there. Small trail to go down. Beautiful nature around. They have a small pound with fish and another one with turtles. But turtles aren't here now because it's cold. There's a small cafe that probably works when it's warm weather. If you want to see a nice view of mountains it's nice place to visit
The blowing rock Not much wind today. Warm and calm. What I like about this place is that everything is close. You don’t have to climb a steep hill or cross a deep river. Simple. Beautiful rock! Good shop. Awesome pictures! Highly recommended
Beautiful place to visit during fall season. The view is magnificent and pictures can’t tell the whole story. We’re so lucky to be here at its peak time and the scenery is beautiful. The place is well kept, clean and very the trails are safe to walk around. The staffs are very friendly. Bring food if you want to have a picnic here. They have chairs and place for you to sit down.
Gorgeous area!! It was very windy and chilly on the day we went during the fall. The view is amazing and fall foliage was breathtaking. My family loved the little museums throughout the walk, the lookout areas, the unexpected jets flying above- super loud but so cool!! Loved every bit of it.
We arrived about 40 minutes before closing on a Saturday. The people were very friendly and told us we had time to do it. The price is a little high for larger families, so it’s not something we’d do every time we’re in the area. But everyone should definitely experience it once. The later time in the day made for some amazing views with the sun setting and we basically had the place to ourselves. The visitor center/store has a good selection. The rock was just steps out the door. I’m a little nervous with kids and heights, and some of the perspective from pictures make it seem like people are in a riskier place than they are. Walk a little farther past the rock and there’s another beautiful lookout. There was concessions that wasn’t open at that time, but that might have been nice to treat the kids to an ice cream had they been open. The whole thing, including shopping in the store took under 40 minutes.

Came here multiple times after a drive on the blue ridge parkway. I haven't ever had a good experience with coffee from a coffee truck, but I was pleasantly surprised. Every drink me and my boyfriend tried was amazing! And the price was also really g
This is such a beautiful overlook. I wouldnât say itâs the best place to see a sunrise (why we originally went, we saw good sunrise reviews), but itâs still an amazing view. The kids loved it too. Itâs a great overlook to stop by if youâre
Booked the kids course for my 7 and 4 year old along with companion tickets for me and my boyfriend. We all had a blast! I loved that we were able to repeat the course as many times as we wanted to within our time from. My 7 yr old was scared at firs

Great views! Peaceful. Parking area and a sidewalk to capture stunning views. My photos are doing this area a disservice because the place is gorgeous. There are little cut out areas to capture different views of the area (not shown on my photos). Th

This inn is fantastic and perfectly located in downtown Blowing Rock. The evening reception and morning breakfast are wonderful! My wife is from the south and she declares they have the best grits. She is not a morning person and she makes sure she g
Def not wheelchair accessible so send in a friend...worth the hassle, I promise. Been living off of weak, "necessity" coffee for the past 2.5 days. Nice to finally have found a place that does right by actual cocoa beans and that has some kick. Kaysi
My 9 yr old was overwhelmed with excitement! I must say I was too. I recommend a 5pm or 6pm train ride so you can see everything before or after the train ride. There was so much to see!!! We went in December and had a WONDERFUL time!!! Make sure you
