The Black Forest Inn - Motel in Lock Haven - 32600 North Route 44 Highway, USA

We camped here as part of the Harvest Host Program and loved it. Hospitality was excellent. Food was yummy and special orders didn't upset them. Our server Ava was full of great information and willing to do her best to meet my special request for food & drink. Lovely atmosphere, fun games and sitting area.|Outdoor patio had lovely places to sit, a bar, fire pit and games.

This is a great place to stop while snowmobiling near Potter County! I love the battered fish tenders. The service is always great and they are used to the smelly snowmobile clientele lol.

Took an hour and a half to get our food. The plac e wasn't crowded. When the food did come the broiled seafood I ordered was too cold to melt the butter sauce. The waitress was very nice and what happened wasn't her fault. We did however get our salads in a timely manner and was good. The hour wait for the entrees wasn't.

If you're on Rt.44, stop at the Black Forest Inn . Great food, great people .Rent a room for the night, Make it a road trip in the peak of the fall foliage, and then drive to the top of Hyner run look out !

Great food and great service. Truly was very friendly and her customer service was great. I ended up booking a room for the night. Affordable and clean. It was so relaxing that I will make it a point to drive back up on a regular basis. I fell asleep outside my room on an Adirondack chair with the cool country air. The new owner is really fixing the Inn up. What a great place to relax and recharge. $22000 hanging on the ceiling and beams! You can make that up.

Locating for us that night was great but it is out in the middle of no where. Place was packed.... they're was a band that night. Band was awesome!

The room stank horribly like mothballs, or maybe something leaked? But never fully cleaned....🤔 The "hot water" was controlled by an "off/on switch" (which was never told to us at the time of renting it). I took an 8 minute shower, and then my husband couldn't take his. We waited 20 minutes but no more hot water for him! 🤬 The bed was harder than a dog bone, & may need to be updated. Mold in the freezer, coffee pot was 🤢, no curtain to block out the sun so that we could sleep in on our vacation, hair dryer doesn't work, tv didn't work, & we couldn't call anyone.
