I have so many wonderful things to say about the owners who are fantastic people and their food. I’ve had the pleasure of tasting many birthday cakes and other sweet treats by them. I never knew vegan cakes could taste better than any store bought/regular cakes. The flavors are amazing, the ingredients are wholesome, and the designs are always so beautiful! They can even cater the ingredients for anyone with specific food sensitivities. If you want high quality food, especially cakes, then you absolutely must order from them 💖

Black Dog Arts cafe is a vegan café in downtown Snoqualmie. They have simple but fresh food and decent coffee. They also have beer and wine and cocktails. I like their open mic night on Wednesday evenings. It gets an eclectic crowd and I enjoy the performances. I have also attended some art workshops there on weekend afternoons. The service is friendly and if you want some vegan food, it is the place to go. The quesadilla or the veggie sandwich is good, their soups are great too. I sometimes get the pot of tea with my food. All bakery items are vegan and delicious. The cafe also sells some wares from local artists like jewelry, paintings and other objects. It’s nice to have a place that locals like to frequent. Open mic nights are Wednesdays 6-10 PM and there is live music on some Friday nights and some weekend afternoons. My pics are all of open mic nights from 4 separate occasions. I visit this place at least once a week as I really like the ambience and the cozy atmosphere and Raven, the owner, is really nice and friendly. On my last visit for an open mic night, I also met the original owner Chris. She told me that this place has been in existence for the past 30 years and the open mic has been on for all this time! I feel so fortunate to have a place like this in the valley.

The breakfast burrito had lots of freshness and clean flavor. While not too sizable, I've had smaller of lower quality at a higher price so this was nice. If you're hungry and eating alone, get a second burrito for only $4 more. The turkey, havarti, cilantro pesto sandwich also was clean and simple BUT, as is always the case for me, if it's intended to be eaten with your hands, it should not make a mess. Not only were pieces falling out, but the toast crumbled. And although I love a good art Cafe atmosphere, some of the music was not my cup of tea. Speaking of which, the rose tea was sweet and flavorful and pink. Would love to come check out some of the events they have, but we were just passing through. Also, the bathrooms are cute and all-gender.... so be sure to visit the one with the urinal (even if you don't use it).

The Ceasar Salad I had was unlike any other! Amazing!!! My partner had the gyro and it was also amazing!

Not only is this my go-to place to eat in Snoqualmie, it’s also where I got my wedding cake made. My husband is vegan, and it was important to us to have little to no animal products at our wedding. We contacted the cafe, and met with Maxine to talk details. She was so kind and receptive to our ideas, including a Twin Peaks-themed cherry pie. Now let’s talk about the finished products. The cake was PHENOMENAL. It was beautifully decorated in Black Lodge colors (iykyk). The pie had Twin Peaks symbols on the top, which was so thoughtful of Maxine to include. And the taste? Mind-blowing (and I’m not vegan). My 9 year old nephew exclaimed that it was the best frosting he’s ever had. And if you know kids, you know they have no filter, so if they say it’s good, it’s GOOD. The cake was so moist and fluffy. The pie was also a HUGE hit. I don’t even think we had leftovers. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for adding magical desserts to our special day.

Really cozy and funky restaurant. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I had a delicious half turkey pesto sandwich with lentil kale soup, perfect for a fall day. My girlfriend had a veggie sandwich with side salad. Service was fantastic and friendly despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon, with a couple mixups with our order that were fixed quickly. Wish we made it in time for the live music! Hopefully next time.

Homey, cosy cafe with friendly staff, yummy vegan fare, & EXCELLENT vegan baked goods (love the strawberry rhubarb pie). The service is a bit leisurely so you don't want to be in a hurry...besides you will want time to browse through the array of locally made unique gifts.

I wished I lived in Fall City just so that I could go here all the time! A+ vegan food and don't even get me started on the vegan desserts. Super fun atmosphere and Rae Lynn can carry a tune!
