Staff and room size for 2 kids|This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it keeps getting better. We live the large rooms aa we have 2 kids so the 2 couches that open into beds are great. |They now have a nice breakfast touch. The staff were helpful and friendly as always. Great location too. |We will be back!!!

Very good. Good location. Very comfy bed. Great that rooms sleep up to 6 as we have 3 children and often have to get 2 rooms which is extremely costly and takes away from the family holiday experience. Breaky snacks were good but we had to ask for more bananas on both days as they only put 2-3 out at a time (not enough for our family of 5). A sign near coffee machine with instructions might save staff time showing guests every time. Overall very happy.

The hotel itself was pleasant enough. The pool is really nice and the rooms are clean and large. My main grip is that $50 a night resort fee I was charged, even due to the following:|-One of our two key cards didn't work, even after bringing it to the front desk to get it fixed, and still didn't work correctly.|-Our room safe was....missing? Not there? So we had to hope that the place was safe enough and hide our valuables. We brought it up to the front desk who said they'd tell the manager. Was never corrected.|-And finally, over a two night stay, our room was never made up.||It wasn't the worst experience ever, but getting a 'resort fee' per night, tacked on, in addition to the above, felt a bit raw.

My mom, sister & I stayed at the Bentley for a girls night out. We had the most wonderful experience. The rooms were immaculate and beautiful. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The manager Virna went above and beyond to make our experience one we will never forget. She was so personable and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was memorable.

We stayed 4 nights and were excited with your newly renovated property. The room was never cleaned and or details attended to. The housekeepers only made the beds and left new towels. ||||The shower still not scrubbed or rinsed out; hairs still visible on the shower floor and glass door. Used wash cloth left was still in the same place not taken away. Throw pillows on the sofa never fluffed and left as we've used the day before. They never placed them on the sofa in the organized style. We used wash cloth to wipe our faces upon returning due to the hot weather and we were sweating; we left the wash cloth folded on the coffee table and it was still there everyday we came back at 9-10pm. ||||We were there because our 16 year-old son was accepted to the inaugural Sag Harbor Cinema's Summer Film Workshop. We left the room at 08:00 - 8:15 in the morning and not back until 9:00 - 10:00PM daily. The housekeepers have all day to clean the room and never dust, vacuum and or mopped. The carpet was with debris and hard floors shown scruff marks as were there the first night we checked-in. ||||We left the beverage drawer opened to show more coffee pods were needed along with creamer pods; it was left open and none were replenished; we went to the front office to make coffee in the morning and asked for more pods to be delivered. Two were provided the entire 5 days/4 nights stay. ||||A shame as the beautifully renovated property will get run down in no time without proper cleaning and maintenance. The summer season still with the entire month of August. We showed the evidences of such lack of care to the person on duty the last night we were there and he said Virna, the manager will be in the following morning at 07:00 to attend to our input. We wanted to show to her but when we checked out at 8:20AM she wasn't there. Another front desk attendance left a message with a colleague the night before when we reported being it was our last night. The person who checked us out said he had the notes and will share with Virna. We let him know the same and Virna was to contact us but never did. ||||We stayed 4 nights and 3 out of 4 nights we have no DirecTV signal and couldn't follow the Olympic competitions which were important to us. We must insist on all of the Resort Fee refund as the facility wasn't clean and we never used the pool and there was no DirecTV meant we cannot watch any contents for the end of day entertainment to relax from the long day.

Convenient to Stony Brook’s Southampton campus and town. The room was spacious and inviting. Love the decor and hotel looks as if it had been recently renovated. ||Everyone at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Bentley will be my top choice for place to stay, next time I’m in the area.

It might look like a motel from the outside but we are very pleased with our stay here in The Bentley. The room was updated, and roomy. The area was quiet and close to everything. I really recommend this place to those who are looking for a place to stay in the Hamptons.

The worst hotel service I have ever experienced. The hotel was overbooked and we found out upon arrival at 10pm. I had called and the front desk earlier in the day to let them know we would have a late arrival (a curtesy I shouldn’t have to do). There was NO mention of an over booking. Upon arrival the young front desk worker very timidly shared the news. He was told his manager gave no further direction and to let guests know. He let me know where else I could stay in the are but provided no additional help. It seems it wasn’t his fault but he let us know his manager did nothing to help. The manager,Verna, I called her the next day (after paying more for a new hotel) to let her know. She said she would TRY to get our money back. It’s frightening, the lack of care and service in hospitality.
