The Beachwood - Motel in Old Orchard Beach - 29 W Grand Ave, USA

toujours parfait nous revenons d une journée et année apres année le beachwood est un hotel haut de gamme a old orchard toujours propre, le personnel souriant a la reception,la piscine est chauffé , et que dire des chambres tres tres propre et super bien équipées et de qualité il manque de rien, et direct sur la plage wow et rewow...en plus a 2 minutes du centre ville et on en profite pour manger la meilleur pizza chez BILL et les fameux maneges...

After trying out several other hotels at Old Orchard Beach, I am happy to say we have finally found our new go-to spot! The Beachwood goes above and beyond to provide great service and clean accomodations in all areas of their property. The rooms were equipped with a small but full size refrigerator, small electric range, pots, pans, knives, cutting board, Keurig, toaster and microwave. Full service housekeeping was available every day and we weren't lacking anything. A huge hit with my family was the pool area which is nicely set up with lounge chairs and tables plus several grills for use by guests. The pool bar with it's friendly bartender and hot tub were amazing after a long day at the beach. They have a pool party with music and a light show every night and I'm happy to say the promise of this pool party was enough to drag my children from endless rides on the Tilt-a-Whirl at nearby Palace Playland. 😂 The Beachwood also has a shed full of complimentry beach chairs for use by guests and they provide beach/pool towels witvh means that's just one less thing to pack!! Definitely the best spot at OOB! Thank you Beachwood! See you next year!!

Can’t beat the location, and the amenities they offer are second to none. Pool, outdoor bar, common areas with grills and overall cleanliness to name a few.

First time staying at the Beachwood which was recommended by a friend. My wife and I arrived in the evening just in time to see the nightly light and music show which last for 30 minutes, it was very nice and we looked forward to it each night. Our room was on the second floor and was very clean and had an ocean view. A Keurig coffee maker and coffee is provided (green mountain breakfast blend). If you have a favorite flavor or brand, I would suggest bringing your own. Full kitchenette in all rooms with a good size refrigerator and freezer. Pool and bar closes at 10pm and quite time begins. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially our housekeeper Robyn, she was awesome! Parking is tight however.

Highly recommend! This is located very close to the Pier - it's right beside Palace Playland, and you can watch people hit the peak of the roller coaster over the roof of the motel. Despite being so close to the action, we didn't find it overly noisy. Rooms are steps away from the beach, and they offer beach chairs, umbrellas, and some toys for guests to use, which was great. The room we stayed in was quite small, but very clean and modern looking. The kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes and pans and has a nearly full size refrigerator and a tiny four burner stove with oven, plus there are grills by the pool. It was nice to be able to cook our own meals when we felt like it! Fresh cookies every evening, fresh ground coffee available in the lobby all day, and regular towel service were all much appreciated extras. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, which were cleaned every morning. There is a nice seating area near the pool and by the grills, and a pool side bar and fire pit.

We spent a week at this fabulous hotel, and I don't think I have ever had better service, staffing was phenomenal, always very kind & helpful. My friend is handicapped and they were able to accommodate us with close parking near our room, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were spotless!! We will be going back every year!! Had a two nights stay Thursday and Friday. Charged 300 plus for the first night 400 plus for the second night for a total of $830 for a two-night stay. The check-in staff on day one we're very helpful very friendly and very accommodating. I have a disability and needed parking close to my room and they made that happen. Day two staff on Friday made me move my car from a location close to my room to the complete opposite end of the property by the gate for the entrance. Mind you I had an ocean front room at the very opposite end of the property and have great difficulty walking. They offer no handicap accommodations whatsoever. I tried to talk to the staff to see if they could help to accommodate me and was treated quite rude, And they did nothing to help accommodate me further. I don't care how nice the rooms are or how good the accommodations are....? when the owner and his staff don't wish to help somebody that is disabled with accommodations close to the room everything else goes in the toilet. What started off as a good stay ends badly. I would not recommend this place to anyone with any kind of disability or handicap and certainly don't look for any help from the staff to accommodate you in any way for anything more than a swipe of your credit card!! I will never come back nor recommend anyone to the Beachwood. Hotels motels and businesses on both sides to the north and south and across the street all had handicap parking and accommodations for their guests! You decide
