The Beach Haus Resort - Resort hotel in Traverse City - 1489 US-31, USA

We had our first family trip to Traverse City and The Beach Haus Resort did not disappoint! This resort has the perfect location for an affordable price! It also has an easy check in process, friendly service, fresh baked cookies at 8pm every night and pints of ice cream to purchase for $5! Great for people that like a late night snack. 😉 The only negative thing I’d have to say is there were a lot of bugs, but that happens wherever water is near!

Not 1 spider. I stayed 3 days, in 2 rooms. The place could maybe use some countertop updating in the coffee station area--which is fabulous. Not 1 complaint of my stay. The rooms were comfortable and up to date. I even watched multiple employees sweeping the balcony joists from the beautiful beach. Not a cobweb in sight. It's satisfyingly suited, and a pleasant surprise with the 2 star rating. The staff is attentive, friendly, and most helpful. I had only intended on 1 night, and came back for 2 more. You get a much better view of the beach from the second story, but you don't need footwear from the first. I would come back here, over others any time.

What a gem!!! The room and whole was updated and beautiful and our second floor lake view was unbeatable! We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the water. Beach was gorgeously maintained. Lots of seating. Loved the mini fridge with freezer for our ice packs! Clean place very friendly staff!

This place is amazing! The most beautiful view, great service and a really clean room. They have coffee and cookies for their guests. Provide beach towels to be used at their beautiful beach. Breakfast is included (although frozen so you have to warm it up in the microwave). All in all a great hotel. Will be back.

The service and location were great! The rooms were nice except for the spiders. For me, that's enough to never come back or to recommend this property. Many cobwebs. Many spiders. If you aren't concerned with spiders, the hotel is otherwise really a nice place. I don't care for writing negative reviews, but in this case, people need to know. I wish I would have read more reviews beforehand.

Rooms overlook water, clean and updated. Real plus was fabulous front desk manager - Kyle. He made us so welcome, gave us fresh baked cookies and recommended wonderful dinner in town at Red Ginger. Not yet being high season, they also offer quite attractive rates. Highly recommended

This two-star motel lives up to its rating—inspect your room, water, and doors before booking. It's perfect if you enjoy the ambiance of a cruise pool belly flop contest. For those seeking quality, look elsewhere. The experience here is as flat as their pillows. Consider yourself warned!

I don't know what/where all the bad reviews came from but this place is really nice!!! We got second floor balcony and it's pretty darn cool here!!! Albeit the weather turned windy and cooler tho, but this place IS NICE!! Look at all the good pictures (not the ones from 3 years ago, come on people, that was 3 years ago!) and you get what it's like. They have grills outside today we're barely used. Beachfront is absolutely CLEAN and no debris anywhere on it. Grass is clean cut and nice (for putting a beach towel on and getting a tan). The fridge is quiet and has a separate freezer section, the microwave works proper and THERE'S FREE KEURIG COFFEE!!WHOO HOOOO!!! The AC is quite too..(how often can you say that, right??) It's in the middle of everything that you wanted to do and places you want to see. Very clean and quiet!! This place is a hidden gem!! They still use room keys but hey, it works!!! THIS PLACE IS GREAT!! If you guys don't spend time here, we surely will when the Blue Angels come back (I just hope they don't raise the rates after everyone reads my review. I know y'all will be coming here now....) Peace out everyone...
