This was probably the best hotel experience we've had. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They called a week in advance to confirm the reservation, and ask if we had any questions. They texted about an hour after our arrival to make sure we had no issues with the room. They delivered continental breakfast to our room. Coffee and hot cocoa were always available at the coffee bar. The concierge took the time to answer questions about the town and gave great recommendations based on our personal likes.

Baywatch exceeded my expectations and the staff was very pleasant. The hotel and our room were very clean and very modern. Design of the room was impressive. Bed and pull out sofa were comfortable. Plenty of amenities and might I add, GORGEOUS VIEW from our balcony. Looking forward to coming back and staying over in the summertime.

The breakfast was in a box delivered to your room in the morning and they did not knock on your door to let you know that it was there. No carpet on the floors. View was great off our balcony. There was no pool or hot tub. We were told to go swimming in the bay from their private beach. Yeah, this time of the year? Room got hot and we could not change to cooling or fan mode. Heat mode was your only selection. We ended up opening the patio door to let the cold air in to cool the room off. Shower floor was slippery. No strips to keep you from slipping in the shower. Walls are paper thin. You could here a dime drop 10 rooms down so if there isn't anyone around you, it is quiet. I heard the sound of one's spa tub in their room humming. It took a little time to get used to that sound. Great size tv and great pictures. I could not find one place to plug in a USB charging cord into. All were 3 prong outlets. Very outdated room.

Definitely worth visiting for those off season prices. The staff was awesome and the rooms and prices were great. I would definitely not pay in season prices to stay here though. The coffee bar was awesome. Complaints: Breakfast was kinda lame though I appreciate the idea. I think it's a cheap way to seem more accommodating and save money from actually providing good food with decent portions. There's only cable which makes down time pretty boring. I wish you could even just cast YouTube or something to rent a movie but no. I wish there was a broom considering there's so much sand right outside your lower level door. The occupants next door were loud and the sound had no issue traveling through the wall. They had A LOT of stamina day and night. I mean jeesh, take a break and enjoy the view for a minute at least.

Good location, beachfront property. Offers rooms that face Grand Traverse Bay. You must go elsewhere to see sunrise & set. They communicated via text as the front desk was empty quite a bit. However, they are very responsive & leave breakfast boxes on your door. The room was very clean and the heat was so hot 🔥 after setting it to 65 in December that we opened our patio door for relief & slept comfortably like that all nite. Will definitely stay here again.

Not worth $300 a night. Breakfast that is "served" to your room is a frozen sandwich in a bag left on the floor in the hallway. I'm not sure if the rooms are not well soundproofed or what but the room above me sounded like they were playing basketball all night, and then started first thing in the morning at 6:30, a constant pounding. The curtains in the room do not open far enough so you can see the water from your bed when you sit up, you have to be standing directly in front of the door wall to see out. Room seemed clean and odor free, staff friendly.

I have only one complaint about my stay here, and it really isn't the hotel's fault. The Great: This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, I received a text every day from the front desk asking if we needed anything, and the lake view was breathtaking. We had a room with a spa tub and it was a wonderful perk at night before bed. The Bad: If there are heel walkers or children above you, you will hear them. If you want to sleep in, forget it. Whatever...sometimes your fellow guests can ruin your hotel experience. Things to note: There is no restaurant, room service, or pool here. The 1st floor walk-out patio also is not private. You share the patio with your neighbors and they can see inside your room if they walk by when your curtain is open. This was no big deal for us, just something to be aware of. Having said all that, I would stay here again. Aside from the noise above us, we had a great time here and felt welcome. If you're ok with the very slight negatives about this place, definitely book a stay.

The Baywatch Resort exceeded my expectations at every turn! Check in was friendly and quick. The entire Resort was extremely well kept; very clean and up to date. Our room was lovely! Very clean, spacious, microwave and not only a larger than normal refrigerator, but it also had a freezer. The shower was not your ordinary style, nice upgrade! Stay here if you're headed to Traverse City!
