The Bayou Kitchen & Lounge - Restaurant in Longwood - 165 Wekiva Springs Rd, USA

We came to The Bayou for the first time for a late brunch / early dinner and, we were blown away by the food! So far, the best New Orleans food that we have had in Florida. The flavors were just delicious, the portions very satisfying, and the drinks hit the right spot. The staff were also super friendly and diligent. The atmosphere is lively and, it feels like a place to have a good time. We will definitely come back for the dinner service.

I love this place. It's my second time visiting. I went on a Sunday. They had a DJ playing music, from R&B, Hip-hop, and bounce music. The atmosphere is very chill with a Creole New Orleans atmosphere. And the food is great, very flavorful and prettier to look at. I tried the gator bites, red beans & rice, po'boy, and chicken & waffle. This place is top tier!

Best New Orlean’s style restaurant in Central Florida!! Every meal we had was absolutely phenomenal!! Tons of flavor, great spice level, the food came out fresh! I missed a photo of our gator and oysters but they are a must have!! Trust me you will NOT be disappointed!! Our servers Jordan & Tatiana were amazing, please ask for them!! I cannot wait to go back!!

What can I say but the fact that this place is amazing. From the moment you enter and hear the music, it sets the ambiance as if you were on Bourbon St in a Jazz Club. Let's not forget the aromas that came linger slowly from the kitchen as in enticing you with a plethora of flavors at ready for you to dive in. I can say the Hurricanes mixed by Victoria go down so smoothly and the food tantalizing. I have now had multiple things on the menu, and my favorite is something so simple as there red beans and rice. It made a fan instantly. I will continue to come and enjoy every succulent bite. Come see Chef Eddie and his partners. You will not regret it!

The atmosphere was nice. The food was delicious and I definitely will need to bring my friends to this place. Looking forward to trying out more things from the menu.

My husband and I visited The Bayou Kitchen and Lounge on Sunday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sometimes when the atmosphere and the people are great we'll come back to a restaurant even if the food isn't all that. However, on this occasion, the food was just the icing on the cake. My husband really enjoyed the shrimp and ended up ordering a second serving. He also had red beans and rice and the jambalaya. Of course, he had to bring some home since he wanted to try different things. It was all very good. I had to jambalaya with pasta, which I never had, and it ended up being very tasty. We also had the key lime pie, which was from a local bakery and very good and unique. The staff was so exceptionally nice. The chef sat down with us to receive some compliments from my husband. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. As well as the other waitress who wasn't even waiting on us. It was a nice Sunday afternoon.

Love the atmosphere. Love the oysters! Looking forward to trying other dishes. I had the Cajun rice lobster and shrimp, very spicy, GOOD. Husband had the salmon he enjoyed it, and he's picky. Gumbo very hearty. Definitely a good find. Good cocktails.

Absolutely the best dining experience! The food was beyond delicious and our waitress (Tatiana) was so attentive. After our meal, the owner stopped by to thank us for coming and made sure our experience was exceptional Loved everything about this place!!!
