My wife and I stayed their this summer for our 25th anniversary. It was also our third time staying at the Bayberry Inn. The location is perfect as it is easy walking distance to the downtown area but far enough back to that we had a quite evening. The room was well kept and very comfortable. The innkeeper Karla was very friendly, accommodating, and attentive to our needs, including food allergies we have. Karla is also an amazing chef. Breakfast was delicious and provided a pleasant aroma to wake up too. We plan on staying there again when we take another vacation to Newport.
The Bayberry was the perfect setting to enjoy a few nights in Newport for my wife’s birthday. The love, attention and respect given to this beautiful old house is very impressive. It has all of the modern conveniences while retaining plenty of its historic and charming details. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail reveals the dedication of the owners and staff. We stayed in The Bayberry Suite which was very spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and the bathroom is just gorgeous! In addition to the above , and equally as important was the hospitality we received from our host Karla, she is one in a million and treated us like long lost friends from the moment we met her. Her culinary skills blew us away every morning as she served creative and delicious breakfast selections. Karla even helped connect us with a local masseuse that gave my wife the perfect relaxing birthday spa experience. This is truly a family run operation, we had the opportunity to meet one of the owners Nikki who told us about the labor of love in keeping such a beautiful property at its best.
The Bayberry is simply and magnificently perfect and so is the hospitality we received there. This is the only place we will stay from now on during our annual visits to beautiful Newport.

My recent stay at The Bayberry in Newport, Rhode Island, was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality. The staff's attentiveness to detail was truly impressive, ensuring every aspect of my stay was enjoyable.
The Bayberry's location is ideal; a very short walk to Thames Street. This put me within reach of shops, restaurants, and sights of Newport. But even with its central location, The Bayberry itself exudes a peaceful charm.
The luxurious accommodations are another highlight. The little details, like plush linens and thoughtful amenities, made the space truly inviting. The big details, like the locally-sourced ingredients Tate used to prepare the complimentary breakfast and Happy Birthday wishes given to us, truly made a lasting impression.
Overall, The Bayberry exceeded my expectations. It's the perfect place to experience the best of Newport: a luxurious stay, impeccable service, and all within walking distance of the city's vibrancy. I recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway.

Stayed there during the 4th of July. Rooms were spacious, well maintained, and had great AC. The food was out of this world. Different breakfast everyday and they go above and beyond. On top of that, great atmosphere and location.
