Very pretty venue for private events. You do have to provide your own food, drinks, etc. You are basically renting space and paying for the view.
Incredible, both in the beautiful nature of the location and the support from Lise. We held our wedding her and could not speak more highly of the experience. Lise went above and beyond to support us as we found vendors, planned details, and navigated COVID. We will be forever grateful and could not be happier with our time at the Bates house.
Wow...our homeschool group got to use the Bates House for their annual dance. We had 82 kids and about 12 adults at the dance and it was great. The facility gave us an open floor plan which was great for dancing and a separate area for food and drinks. The theme was Winter Wonderland and everyone had a great time.
Just make sure that if you host and event, put generous signs at the entrance because the turn on the road is a bit hidden.
The Bates House is beautiful! I was the officiant and a guest at a wedding here, and it was simply fantastic. The grounds are immaculate, the house itself is beautiful, and everything was just fantastic. I highly recommend it!

Visited here for a wedding party and the locale is nice, staff are friendly and venue easily held 100+ people. The estate the home sits on is also very large and has a lot of nice grass and trees which are especially pretty at sunset during the summer. The only picture I have was from at night but The Bates House should be on your list for any LI event you’re planning!
