The Bar - Wausau - Bar & grill in Rothschild - 10302 Market St, USA

Great food, excellent staff and a really nice place to eat and have a drink. The staff might be a bit over worked or the bar tenders are understaffed, putting in and order at the bar is a bit difficult at times. Most of the time even when it’s very busy there’s only one bar tender. I’d recommend a using a table if you’re in a hurry. I did see staff watching the bar tender during busy times. A few of my favorite dishes at The Bar are the Chicken Wings, Carnivore Pizza and Nachos but they have lots of other great food.

The atmosphere was modern, cool, and relaxing. The service was great, and the food didn't take long to come out for a large group of us. We made a reservation due to the size of our group and the table was available immediately on a Friday night. That says a lot! Our server was very attentive but not over the top and let us enjoy the meal without trying to push us out. Highly recommend this location!

I don't come here often. Only when I have to pick up a load nearby. I normally really like coming here. There's a manager here that knows me as Texas. Maybe they were having an off night, there was football on, a few extra people at the bar, etc. But I don't believe there was a reason I had to wait 40 minutes just do be asked if I wanted a menu.. and when the waiter, Kendrick, had any reason to bring my food, or return to my table, there was a certain attitude about it.. I've never not left a tip anywhere until tonight.. I'm willing to give one more chance when I pass through. Thank you

Had the Philly cheese and fries it was great really tender just like it should be if I ever get back this way I will stop in again

Went for a hamburger and a beer. Got there 8 minutes before kitchen closed but waitress made sure to get our order in time. Menu had lots of variety and they also have many specials Staff was extremely nice and made sure that we were treated as welcome guests. Hamburger was very good. We'll definitely be back.

Food was delicious. Lady who took my to go order was super friendly and found me when my food was done. Pretzels and Brussel sprouts were amazing!

Awesome pizza and the new menu items hit it out of the park! Service is always prompt and food is hot and delicious. Great team that works there as well. Fantastic catering when we have our group meetings.

I went in just expecting a mediocre meal. But I was greeted with good service and a meal better then standard pub fare. I started with the Brussel sprouts, something you would not expect onthemenu. They were very good with just the right amount of crispness. I order the pesto chicken panini with light cheese. The cook personally brought the sandwich out to make sure it was right! It was perfect and delicious. And a nice selection of beers to go along with the delicious tater tots.
