I honestly don’t know where to begin. Everything about this place is brilliant! Beverly is an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast options in the mornings. This place is perfect if you want to jump into the b&b experience but also equally accommodating if you like to keep to yourself. The main house is so cozy and our cottage was beyond perfect. Delicious baked goods are available throughout the day and when you need to walk them off you can hop on a trail right outside the front of the inn that will take you to a cute little park and into the town center of Banner Elk. I could go on and on about this place. Price, location, warm atmosphere, it’s got it all!
We highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast. It is very cozy and comfortable and the innkeeper is a lovely lady who aims to please in anyway she can. Last summer we stayed five weeks in her cabin and had a wonderful stay. This last visit we stayed in the main house and loved it. Breakfast was wonderful and we met other guests at breakfast that were most enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this B&B to all our friends and families. Great location and close to all activities and wonderful restaurants.
So charming and felt right at home! Beverly is a wonderful hostess and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We loved being able to walk right into the little town and enjoyed the restaurants. We stayed in the suite in the main house and slept comfortably. Everything was wonderful and we look forward to coming again! I highly recommend staying here!:-)
We had such a wonderful stay! The house is very charming and quaint. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We especially liked the egg and sausage casserole, though everything was just wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here if looking to spend some time in the Banner Elk area.
We stayed at the Banner Elk Inn this past weekend, while visiting family nearby. The house is very charming and quaint, centrally located and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed our time in the gardens by the fountains while having our coffee! However, our room, The Peach Room, was quite tiny and musty smelling, with wallpaper peeling off in multiple places. The bed is pretty lumpy, which we managed to smooth out with a comforter the 2nd night. A nice update to the rooms would be great to make them fresh again!
We are staying in the Peach Room and Bev has been lovely. The rooms are clean and we were provided a nice breakfast. Breakfast is served buffet style and there is a large dining room for everyone to sit. She also makes baked goods to snack on. The room is on the small side but the bathroom is very big. We have come for the Grandfather Mountain Highland games, and the location is also a suitable drive of under 20 minutes. There are also some nice restaurants in town nearby. We are enjoying our stay!
Loved staying here, room was very comfortable and very clean as was the private bath. Morning breakfast of homemade blueberry pancakes , fresh fruit , great coffee and cakes. Met not only the owner who is very interesting and nice but a few of her other guest and all of them great. Would stay here again.
I made a reservation last Tuesday over the phone with Alberto. We showed up today and nobody was there. We called the reservations number and spoke to him, and he told us that they had cancelled our reservation. Unfortunately, nobody called us ahead of time to inform us of this. Alberto claimed he did not have my number, but I certainly provided that when I made the reservation. After a three hour drive, we had no place to stay. In short, we reserved one night. Local laws require a two night reservation. You would think the person taking reservations would know this, or make an effort to contact me if this was an issue. The owner called shortly after and while I appreciate her apologies and am empathetic to the fact it wasn't her error, there was really no effort to remedy the situation. She did offer the rental for two nights at full cost, but that was not our plan. Pretty disappointing and it left us scrambling to find another place on same day notice.

The Taylor House Inn is an ideal spot for a quiet getaway; Perfectly nestled near Boon, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. While the location is perfect, the Inn itself is even better. Charming and hospitable! Tessa and Bernard are the perfect hosts! Ev
The Mast Farm Inn was the most amazing place to stay for our Mountain Christmas Tree Adventure. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about things to do. Anytime we needed anything they were there to help. We stayed in the granary whi
This place is a great venue to watch a live play or musical. We've seen numerous productions put on by the Lees-Mcrae drama department and have always been thoroughly entertained. Just watched the 9 to 5 Musical and we loved it! Large enough venue
Came here on a Saturday night. Was able to make reservations that afternoon. We were seated right away. It did take some time for us to be seen by our waiter, but he had a large party which he was taking care of at the time. The food was delicious. I
Heather, Renee, Tanner (I wish I could name them all) were our guardian angels! Truck broke down and they had a place for us to stay, made sure we had food and everything we needed! Went above and beyond to make us feel safe and that we were in good
Our favorite restaurant in the area! Some of the best Italian I've ever had. Definitely worth the price, most lunch entrees under $10. Pictures are the tortellini carbona, lasagna, and make your own pasta bread bowl... Strawberry shortcake cheese
Solid & good! Pulled pork wasnât the freshest Iâve had. Smoked sausage was superb! Ribs were really flavorful but offered a little resistance. (Iâm spoiled on BBQâ¦) overall was really good! 7/10 Service was friendly and attentive. Restaurant
