I stopped past this neat little bagel stop after I had finished up with a customer in the area. I ordered two bagels sandwiches since they looked a little on the small side, but they were really good. Unfortunately I can't remember The total that I spent, but I think it was around $25. I ordered the forest and the Timberlake bagels. I also ordered a drink. I would definitely stop by again. Everything was made fresh in the store and the counter service was very friendly. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible
Tasty and authentic NY bagels. Very fast service, friendly staff, and fair prices. Couple of nice meeting rooms for small group get together. I'll be back!
Absolutely adored the staff and food! Decided on a whim to try and I got The Wyndhurst (Chicken salad with arugula on an everything bagel). It was very very delicious! I definitely think that this place makes a good stop for anyone who’s in the area!
We loved our breakfast here! The bagels are some of the best I've ever had (and it's so cool to see the bagels being made). We came for my sister's birthday and they were so kind to us! Great service, great food!
Finally got there before 2 to try out this new brunch spot! It was pretty full at lunchtime and very welcoming cozy seating! Ordered both egg and honey walnut cream cheese bagels. See pic below of very generous helping of Honey walnut cream cheese! Nice actual walnut chunks in it. Whole wheat everything bagel was very fresh, a bit salty but very nice chewy texture! Coffee was quite good very hot though not the strongest but much better than blue ridge. Liked the creamer selection. Would definitely go back to try more menu items. The flowers outside were a nice cheerful touch to greet you!
I have been to the bagel and I about 4 times now. I would 2/4 have been good. Normally just get bagels. But 2 of the 4 have been bad. I visit I orders a dozen bagels. They were out of some flavors which I could see in the bin. They did however have 1 cheddar left so I asked for it, after paying and waiting for my food I noticed the person behind me asked for a breakfast sandwich on a cheddar bagel, the person at the counter sold them one and took the last cheddar bagel from the bin. A few mins later they gave me my dozen bagels and said sorry they were out of cheddar bagels but they put a different bagel in the bag. This in my opinion is HORRIBLE customer service. Other bad experience was ordering a dozen bagels about 730 in the morning. Only about half felt like they had been baked that morning the rest were very tough and seamed to be a few days old. I don’t think I will be getting food here anymore
I've ordered from the drive up a few times and my wife has been inside to order, in the past. I'm a little upset with her for not telling me how amazing the inside of this place is. I stopped in yesterday morning for a couple of Breakfast sandwiches after an early morning of fishing and went in for the first time. I have to say that I was blown away by how gorgeous this place is, the decor, ambiance and general thought process in it's design and execution is perfect, not to mention the wonderful aroma of all of their Bagel goodness. After ordering and waiting for my Bagels, I snooped around a little to check out more of the location and I think I want to move into that Family Room. It looked so comfortable and inviting. It literally screams "Come on in and relax. Here, you are family." The Bagels are the best I've had in the area, hands down. So many other places simply have an illusion of Bagels, circular bread with a hole in it, but these are true Bagels. You can immediately tell the time and care it took to produce a wonderful product. The only others I've had that were close, were when I've taken the time to make my own, but I don't always have a couple of days to do so, to build the flavor and texture. (Resting overnight, or longer) I'm saddened to see some of the poorly reviews, based in, what I think is a misunderstanding of the specialty craft and what the star of the show is, along with those based in impatience. Sandwiches, be they breakfast or otherwise, have never let me down, because the Bagel is the star. If they were overcrowded with fillings, it would ruin the Bagel, in my opinion. Yes, one egg is going to appear small, in these full sized circles of awesomeness. I don't see that as an issue. Specialty orders that they graciously cater to, be it Gluten Free (why even order a Bagel?) or heavier Wheat styles, which in my opinion is not really a Bagel, are going to be denser and not worth it, to begin with. Why demand a Bagel made with concrete and then complain? I can see those people ordering Tomato Sauce with no tomatoes and then complaining about it. Every time I've been, especially in the morning, people are there. Of course they have to cater to those who are there, over those who can't or won't physically go. If you have to wait 30-40 minutes, it is what it is. I don't know of any descent restaurant that is any different. If you want a real, New York style Bagel made with care and the best ingredient, Time, this is the place to go. Thank you for bringing your amazing craft to this area. Now, if you have friends who can make Cannoli or Pizza with such care and love, my world would be complete.
I wanted to give more stars. I really did. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. With that being said, it was my first visit and I was utterly disappointed. My bf's mom gets bagels from here all the time and she's given us some multiple times. We thought they were absolutely delicious and wanted to try it for ourselves. I spent a lot of money here. I got a bakers dozen with 4 additional bagels. That's 17 bagels and 8 of them were burnt. And I mean BURNT. Like onions were a crispy black color, Some of the everything bagels were a deep, dark brown color. In contrast, the rest were a nice golden brown color and were really good. We couldn't eat 7 of the 8 burnt bagels because they were too hard to bite. The other 1 I just kinda toughed through. I'm upset because it was overall a waste of money. Those Bagels should have been thrown away and not sold to ANY customer. I wish I took pics before throwing them out 😞
