The Avenues Apartments - Apartment complex in Jacksonville - 7915 Baymeadows Cir E, USA

BEWARE!!! This place was absolutely dreadful to stay at for the time I was here. The service was extremely poor, the front office is full of careless & very rude people, and maintenance crews are incredibly slow. The units are old and suffer from neglect. They opened a collection on me, and tried to make me pay $800 for absolutely nothing when I left. I never received a phone call, letter, or email as to why. When I noticed my credit report had tanked 50 points, I called asap and they told me it's no longer their issue and they don't have me on file to see what the collection was for. I disputed the collection with TransUnion and won. This place is shady and scummy. My unit had issues all the time, leaking vents, dish washer back up from the sink that flooded kitchen, A/C died, and I spent an entire month in the summer heat waiting for them to fix it. They promised to decrease the amount of rent for the month, but went back on their promise and charged me full anyways. The leaking vents caused water damage to my furniture, even though they said they would reimburse me, they did not and I never heard back from them regarding that. Maintenance crews do not fix issues, they don't show up half the time & don't speak English. My backyard had an HVAC unit floating in the pond from the maintenance crew tossing it in there. Such a "beautiful" site. STAY AWAY from this shady business, look elsewhere please. Save yourself frustration and a bad home life.

This place is a dump. Bad management. The place is falling apart. People do not pick up after their dogs, people getting shot, killed... There's a whole side I discovered, where it looks like drug deals are happening, over by the East entrance. Yeah, it's a mess. Dirty. "You'll have a great view to the pool". It's depressing, it's green and has tadpoles. I wish I hadn't been in a hurry to move. Staff is not helpful at all, they just need you to sign the lease, and any communication through the app. Maintenance comes through, everytime. I just wish I didn't have to put a service request every week bc the plumbing is so f up. The gym is nice. Great location... But, not worth it. This place needed to be a condemned 10 years ago. I'm out, when lease is up. Do yourself a favor and find another place to live. They offer incentives to give 5 star reviews Haha keep going, you're up to a 4!!.lolUpdated pictures, honey. I’m moving to the area from out of state & stopped in to check out these apartments. I had a great experience with Ariana- she was absolutely amazing to work with and knowledgeable about the area and apartments. She was accommodating and thorough- it really helped to set my mind at ease knowing we will be renting here. I highly recommend working with Ariana!

Had a wonderful time conducting a paint and sip resident event at The Avenues apartments this past December. Frederick and Karly were very helpful. I was impressed on how professional and friendly they were with their residents.

I’d give you zero stars but it won’t allow me to. My message needs to be seen so someone will listen. You’ve let one of your tenants sit in flooding water for 3 days now. Instead of paying the emergency fee for the water evacuation- you’ve expected the tenants to sit in their home with no where to go - water about 2” & I know you’re going to repair the moisture damage right?? Do not rent from this company. It is NOT luxury & they do not have the tenants best interest in mind

I’ve lived here for 1.5 years currently working on moving out just due to availability. Mya in the office is friendly and very helpful. She’s delivered packages to my apt door that got delivered to the office and I live in the very back! Goes to show she will go above and beyond. I’d also like to mention Jordan he’s been extremely helpful as I’ve lived here for numerous things. He’s always polite, kind, and has a good sense of humor. Both are enjoyable to socialize with. Definitely seek out these two for any of your needs

We just moved to the area and this was our first choice, Jordan was our leasing agent and he was absolutely amazing. So much fun to work this all out with him! He was honest and very comforting while we got everything figured out, 10/10 i highly recommend if you’re looking for a new apartment check this place out and ask for Jordan!
