I’ve Been coming here for few months now. Very Relax, cozy and European feeling like environment. Nothing beats a nice bottle of wine and Charcuterie and Chessboard. Nice selection of flights for everyone. Aleks is so knowledgeable and passionate about his menu and is always willing to answer questions left and right! Glad to have a place like this in Nashville!
Such a wonderful and somewhat hidden gem! Feels like you stepped back in time to a 1920s French wine bar. The live music on Friday and Saturday nights is wonderful not to mention the wine and food! We typically come here for a bottle of wine and a desert but they have food too! The owners are lovely and you can tell they pour their heart and soul into this place!
Wow! This beautiful couple from the Champange region/Paris opened an incredible French wine bar. Everything is perfection. The gorgeous live jazz music (bass and classical guitar) just puts you in the perfect mood. The gentleman owner will talk endlessly about the wines on the wine list he created. Don't be fooled by his American accent, he is French through and through and knows his wines.
We absolutely adored our visit to The Authentique. The sparkling rose was great and we really enjoyed sharing the cheese and charcuterie board between our party of 4. Alex was beyond kind and attentive and helped us celebrate our occasion. We will definitely be back!!
Amazing hidden little gem! My husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful food and wine here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything was delicious and the owner is super sweet and provided excellent service. If you’re feeling adventurous, ask for the 1948 Port that isn’t listed on the menu. Best Port we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for an amazing anniversary date. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve lived in Nashville for 15 years and have dreamed of a place like this for a long time. The wine list is outstanding, the food is made to order and incredible, the owners are the sweetest people on earth and so knowledgeable, and every time I come here I am transported to a little corner of Paris where all time stops. Cannot say enough good things about The Authentique…hands down my favorite spot in Nashville! (Pro tip: get all of the crepes.)
A little piece of France in Nashville. This is the type of local bar that any city would be proud to have! The owners (both french speakers) make you feel at home and simultaneously completely transported to an authentic wine bar in the heart of Paris. The staff is incredibly kind and make it their mission to see that your experience is excellent. The food consists of many recipes passed down from the grandmother of one of the owners (try every crepe, really)...and the wine list on offer is wonderfully selected (almost entirely french wines, but with a few beers on offer in case you have non wine drinker in the party). Also, the fact that you can have so many wines - including grand cru varieties by the glass is amazing. The vibe incredibly unpretentious for those who are curious about wine but don't have a lot knowledge about it. The employees will help you find something you love without making you feel judged! Wine flights, which they also offer are a great way to try a lot of different wines and develop your tastes without having to purchase a full glass. Can't say enough positive things about this place, Nashville is lucky to have it! J'adore the Authentique!
