The Attic - Southern restaurant (US) in Long Beach - 3441 E Broadway, USA

I LOVE THIS IS PLACE. THE BEST FOOD IS HERE. The service was great! Decor was nice, everything was perfect. Super duper recommended! In love with the biscuit. Perfect place for a date night.

We got the shrimp and grits with cheese, the ricotta French toast, the short rib poutine and finished the meal with the peanut butter and jelly ice cream sandwich. The only issue with the grits is that there was not more. They were creamy and sweet with the pork and shrimp and the savory notes. The French toast was amazing, with the ricotta being whipped giving a nice and fluffy texture to the entire dish. The short ribs were the bottom of the dishes, but that is only because it was a little salty but still delicious. The ice cream sandwich is a great fun little bit of childhood for dessert. I will say if i was going to change one thing it would be how the jelly is all in the center of the sandwich, it would be much better if the jelly was more over the entire sandwich and it does not need much so it could be thinner.

First time, what a great culinary experience. The patio is so open & the new bar area is full of light. Our servers Heather & Eric, both so helpful with questions and menu variations for vegetarians & vegans. Coffee is from Stereoscope. The Attic has so many great choices… We had wedge salad & vegetarian avocado toast. It is great no football on television, great music & dining. organic produce from local farms makes the salads extra amazing.

This place is 10/10, coming from a traveler! It left a great first impression of Long Beach vibes. The waiters are so sweet and helpful! and every plate we had (Cannelloni, Cauliflower, Gumbo and biscuits) were 10/10 as well. You won’t regret coming here!

The food here was really tasty. Came here during happy hour. Their St. Louis ribs were delicious. Also tried their lobster roll and it was the perfect texture. Their Mac & cheetos was also really good. Very creamy and crunchy. Overall, great experience!

Outstanding food, great service and a cool atmosphere. Had the biscuits, pimento cheese toast, fish n chips, gumbo, and lobster roll, ice cream cookie cake, and an autumn old fashioned. Seriously all of it was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. The employees are super kind! I tried the lobster roll but I was not very happy with it. I could not get over the flavor its overpowered by celery salt and mayo. My daughter tried the mac and cheetos but the flies overtook it. My kale salad was great, the fish and chips was good. Expresso Martini delicious and the biegnets were awesome. I was told there is a fly problem so it was annoying to keep fanning my food.

What an outstanding restaurant. Came here twice with my kids, 8 and 11. All the food was exceptional - tasty, creative and generously sized. Particular highlights for us were the poutine and the breakfast rice bowl. Friendly and professional service. Highly recommended.
