All employees were very nice and helpful. It is in a good location and has a garage which was helpful since we arrive at the beginning of a tropical storm. it has been renovated and we met friends there and were able to have adjoining condos. The only thing I was aware of the floors were not really clean and I know that sand is an issue but I think they need to use a better cleaning product. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and stay there.
The rooms are very outdated, maybe from 20 years ago. They’re somewhat clean for what they are. The room we got smelled pretty awful. Very musty. Bathroom was clean but some of the siding of the bathroom was coming off and definitely looked as if mold had moved in given it’s exposure to water. It’s right near the beach and the small shops. Restaurants all over the place. The hotel seems plenty safe. Some of the surrounding area I’d be somewhat concerned bringing children. That’s not something specific to the hotel either, just the Virginia Beach Boardwalk area. One big plus is as an EV/Tesla owner they have full speed 48amp Tesla chargers (2) and a CCS 32 amp charger. Which worked perfectly.
I wish I’d taken photos of the actual room we stayed in because the online photos of the rooms and resort itself are very deceiving. The interior of the room we stayed in still had gross carpet, the furniture was extremely old, dated and worn. There were stains on the top blanket of the bed as well as stains on several towels and pillows. It really isn’t located on the greatest end of VA beach but take that for what it’s worth. There is a nightclub very close by and the increased police presence had me on edge wondering what sort of activity to expect. Va beach certainly isn’t a family vacation destination spot. Loud noises from the nightlife were disruptive until past midnight and could be heard clearly from our 6th floor room. The view was nothing spectacular. Directly out of our bedroom window there was nothing but construction and the street. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty and someone’s whisker clippings were on the sink upon our arrival, thankfully I came prepared to clean for our stay. The little interaction we did have with staff was pleasant. I was surprised to find the front desk is just a table in the lobby with a small closet/office space. The pool and hot tub were both closed for an unknown reason. Overall, it was a cheap place to stay overnight while we were in town for an event. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone, nor would I ever desire to book another stay here.
Stayed for three nights for my first time in VA beach. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Decent location. Within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants/bars and shops. Room setup is nice. There’s a kitchen with stove, microwave, standard fridge w/ freezer, silverware and cooking supplies. Everything needed to cook a meal in your room, if desired, although we didn’t. Bed was comfortable although we swapped out the sheets for our own as we didn’t feel the bed linens were great nor did they appear the cleanest. Hotel wifi is spotty. Floors are wood vinyl and dont feel like they do a very good job cleaning the floors in between stays. The worst part was a terrible smell in the front of the room that hits you in the face as soon as you walked in the door. Could not identify where the smell was coming from nor can I really even explain the smell itself but it was not pleasant. We tried to cover up with air freshener spray on numerous occasions but didn’t really help. Windows can’t be opened so there is no way to air the room out. There is no daily housekeeping either which I wasn’t aware of when I booked. Hotel is pretty outdated and definitely needs a freshening up. There’s a pool but a pretty lame one. We didn’t use it. I was kind of grossed out by this soapy film that hovered over the surface. Overall, this wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, but I wouldn’t stay here again. Rating 2/5 because of the bad smell we encountered and no daily housekeeping. Otherwise this is no more than a 3/5 hotel.
My husband and I stayed at the Atrium resort on the evening of 9/18. We unpacked and went to dinner. Upon our return, we found a meth pipe on the nightstand next to my side of the bed, as well as fresh blood splatter on the sheets. We were horrified, but felt there was nothing we could do at the time, as it was after midnight. We threw the pipe in the trash and removed the sheet. The next morning my husband got up early and went for a run. During that time, someone entered our room and retrieved the pipe. I was woken up by someone opening and closing doors and walking around the bed, but assumed it was my husband and turned over and fell back asleep. When I woke up the pipe was gone. Time stamps from his watch show that he was on his run during that time. We had booked another night at the hotel, but felt so unsafe that we checked out and went to another hotel.|||| The General Manager of the hotel has been less than responsive. Initially he offered a refund for the two nights and provided a key audit of the room. He later stated that he would only refund one night and referred me to the hotel's attorney. After reviewing the key audit and comparing with time stamps from our watch activity logs/text messages/receipts, there were multiple entries into our room made by someone other than us, while we were not in the hotel. ||||Not only is this a huge violation of privacy and grossly unsafe, but the lack of concern from the hotel makes me wonder if this is not an uncommon occurrence at this hotel. As a woman, the thought that a person was in my bedroom while I was sleeping is absolutely terrifying. I am going public with this because I don't want anyone else to have to experience anything like this.
Nice room, clean and decently sized with bedroom, kitchen, and living/dining area. Plenty of bedding and towels. ||The Hotel itself is ok. Small pool in center of lobby. Hot tub that doesn't work. Fitness center with only one working machine. Vending machines (some work, some don't).||Three short blocks from the beach, so easy enough to get to. Parking on property.||Overall, it suited our purposes, and the price was reasonable. However, I wouldn't really call it a resort. Just another apartment/hotel.|
The only good thing about this hotel is the location is close to the beach. I'm sitting here listening to the TV from the next room. The bed sheets had not been changed when we got here. I called for clean sheets had to change them myself. The floor was so filthy after we walked on it for about an hour our feet were black. I mopped the floor with sink water and a washcloth. What a dump.
Overall experience was pleasant. It was a clean, basic hotel for a great price. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Did not have any issues while on my stay.

Rachel was an excellent stretchologist. She was attentive and made sure I was comfortable at all times and provided tips on things I could do to improve my flexibility and muscle tightness. I definitely will be coming again.
My kids love coming here. The staff is all so nice, we especially love Annette. They ask almost everyday to go ð I wish I could take em that much. I recommend the punch card if a membership isn't your thing because of the monthly dues.
