Very peaceful and scenic botanical garden with focus on trees. Dog friendly also. You can spend hours hiking around well maintained and scenic paths. The nearest busy streets are far away so it's also very peaceful and quiet. You can listen to the wind rushing through the trees and from time to time squirrels and hawks.
This arboretum is absolutely stunning. The views are amazing. Perfect for a day out with family. There are some active areas of play for kids. I highly suggest taking the 1 mile path. Take in the scenery as you walk around and capture some great photos with the family. I highly suggest visiting this location if you're in the area.
One of my fav stops. We saw tons of hummingbirds and even got to help one that got knocked out against a window. The flowers were incredible. I truly love love loved visiting here. Oh and the lady working the counter was precious!
Was a nice walk I n the woods but this time of year not alot blooming here.
I wasn't sure what to expect because I read mixed reviews. Here's what I think... If you go there with the intention to go slow and enjoy nature (stop and smell the roses), you will probably have a nice experience. If you speed through the trails, you'll probably be disappointed. There are benches so you can sit and watch nature. You could bring a lunch or snacks to eat on the benches. Binoculars are nice.
Such a gorgeous place for a wedding, especially in the summer time! I played violin/sang at a beautiful wedding here and the natural setting is stunning. The weather is so perfect in the summer time and there is so much space. Perfect for a small or large wedding! If you want a wedding with a gorgeous outdoor feel, this is the place!
This was such an amazing treat so close to Flagstaff. The grounds are beautiful and there are both easy walks and hiking trails. Many of the plants are labeled and it was fun to see many different environs in the park. There was also a nice picnic area and plenty for kids to do. The drive up and back is a little rough, so expect that. All in was about 30 minutes from downtown Flagstaff and then about 20 minutes back to the highway.
Love it here, family friendly, beautiful place to come when in Flagstaff. My kids loved the nature bingo game and it made it more of an adventure. Got married here almost 10 years ago, they keep updating it and making it better for guests to learn and enjoy. We had a picnic here and the kids were soaking in the beauty of the forest. Dont forget the mushroom garden that has cute little gnomes everywhere.

I won a bet with my buddy about who had the best burrito in town. I made him eat an El Mayor from Tres Amigos. He looked me dead in the eyes and said: "you win".
Gracie Barra Flagstaff has been such a great place to watch our son learn fundamentals of life, safety and become more confident as a 6 year old. We've only been here since January 2023 and we have enjoyed every part of being involved in this academy
The view from here is mesmerizing. It's so much more breathtaking in the snow. You can see the tiny cars trekking up the mountainside. The restroom here is clean.
Great local park near downtown Flagstaff. Has a series of trails, including a popular 2-mile loop that is great for walking, running, and biking. Arizona Trail passes through it. Sweeping views of the San Francisco Peaks. An easy escape to nature fo
When you hear "hole in the wall" this is the place. But really it's a magical portal to dragon land. The cod and chips was toe curling good. There are meat pies that had me drooling. I picked up some Scotch eggs for breakfast and I'm so egg-cited. I
I was excited to visit here, as it is part of the original Route 66. It did not disappoint! The ambience inside, the servers uniforms, all the automotive memorabilia - it had it all! I recommend the barbecue sliders and the macaroni and cheese sharea
It was a short trail but, it was worth the walk around. My husband has never been, though his first thought was.. . What? A bunch of old molted rocks, "whoopie". That changed as we walked the trails and got to see up close what these "old molted roc
This place was awesome in every aspect. First, the staff was very warm and welcoming. She took the time to explain what the business was all about and gave excellent menu suggestions. The food was great. I was there at the breakfast meal period b
