Worst hotel experience. This property needs help and much better management. I didn't want to write a negative review but they left me no choice since I tried to reason and resolve the issue prior. The hotel was unprofessional and unwilling to work with us in regard to canceling, I was aware of their cancellation policy BUT some things are not known until you actually arrive! They would not provide a contact name, phone# or email for the property, we were left standing around for an hour. First thing we noticed is the hotel is not clean, there's no reception area outside of a laptop in a very small food area, and no attendant, had to ask one of the guests in the pool area. Virtual check-in is great but you still need someone available. Check in wasn't until 4pm, standard now wherever you go but you're usually accommodated if you arrive early. Oh, they would do that if you wanted to pay an additional $45.00 per room; seriously?? We left came back and were immediately told the rooms were still not ready. There's so much more to list, they really could have handled this differently. My suggestion is, buyer beware!!

We went to the resort in the middle of a hot June weekend and loved the fresh weather. The whole place is beautiful, with amazing views of the mountains and the pool. Everyone who worked there was super nice to us. Had an awesome time relaxing by the pool. It was the perfect getaway. Definitely coming back!

What a lovey building set nestled in the mountain's of Vernon NJ.I am never disappointed with my Stay. Nicole the manager is AMAZING, when I am there on Saturday George the Shuttle driver brings me wherever I need to go. Zach who works at the desk (which is now located inside of the cafe@ Jack & Ottos ) Is One of a kind and Vicky is amazing also. The rooms are always clean and On Point.. I can’t rave any more about all the people who work there. A+++

This hotel is great for the family. Underground garage Hot tub Jacuzzi Swimming pool Sauna Pinpong table Gym A store and a bar.

We have been coming here for the past 8 years. This visit will be our last. This is the second time we have stayed here and the parties that go on until all hours is terrible. No one can do anything about it. No security. The person at the “front desk” refused to help. Said they will not go down to the room we are complaining about because it was unsafe for her. So another sleepless night. The rooms are expensive so you would think there would be some type of security/management on staff at night. They need to get new management and a better plan in place.

Stayed here two nights for a wedding. Rooms are a little dated, and some things are a bit worn, but understand there are renovations in progress. The service made up for this, however. Staff everywhere was super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience. The location is spectacular in any season, though I experienced it at the end of Fall. You can hike up to the summit of Vernon Peak, which has an amazing view that includes High Point in the distance. Though breakfast options when we stayed were limited, the Biergarten at the adjacent Red Tail Lodge has a hot grill that opens at 9 am. Their breakfast burrito is affordable and massive! Make sure to stop by Otto's in the lobby for an evening constitutional.

Checking in was interesting - they did away with the front desk so I checked in with a guy at the food place. Apparently they thought it was a good idea and want everything to be contactless. The room itself was fine… kinda nice even, but facing the main road which was very noisy until after 10pm (tough with kids). However we had a VERY RUDE family / person above us and they were making so much noise - stomping around and doing god knows what else (it was crazy how noisy they were through 2am) - and we had no one to call. There is no one here at that time working (like I said, no front desk, no security)… I didn’t feel safe knocking on their door so we had to just endure. Also we needed another blanket and had no way to get one since there’s no phone in the room to call anyone and no phone number on their website to call either! WHOEVER’S BRIGHT IDEA IT WAS TO MAKE THIS PLACE VOID OF SERVICE AND SECURITY, YOU SHOULD REALLY RETHINK THIS. My kids didn’t sleep until after 2, my daughter was crying saying she wanted to go home…. It was the worst “hotel” experience I’ve ever had, honestly. Will never come back.
