Honestly LOVED this place. They work so hard to keep this place clean and it pays off. We stayed here Friday and Saturday night and my husband and I LOVED it. Black out curtains, clean towels, comfy pillows, clean room, GREAT AC and fan…the list goes on! Also, it’s only a minute walk to the Maverick which is so helpful!! The young gentlemen who checked us in was SO awesome and I could always get someone to answer the phone when I was calling to book the room!! Thanks Antler Motel! We will for sure stay here next year!!
This place is a hidden gem. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms. The staff were attentive and even brought us extra towels. I’d highly recommend a stop here if you are nearby. You will be pleasantly surprised. I tip the cap to the ownership group along with all their staff.
Old building with old carpet, very unattractive location. Clean bedding and towels. Beds were comfortable. Terrible internet TV connection for their Roku TV and terrible internet connection. Small refrig, small microwave and in room coffee worked perfectly. Minimal daily maid service and floor did not get vacuumed well. Front desk staff essentially non-existent. At check in was charged for the entire reservation and when we left one day early, the front desk office was locked and no one was available to assist us. Called and spoke with 2 people the day we left and the next day and was informed that a manage would call back. NO return calls.
The Antler motel has two sections, the older section does not look good. Parking is chaotic. The facade the worn out. The rooms have been remodeled and and look good and are clean. The rooms are missing some of the details you might expect in a motel, like towel racks. There was no desk for my computer in the Wi-Fi sucks. They provide free ice for your cooler. The staff is friendly but sometimes not available. The parking lot is kind of chewed up.
Rooms are decent. 2 separate buildings was strange. No phone in room. Can't get ahold of the front desk. Management and employees are a bunch of druggies. Definitely unsafe for children to be around. Sketchy people and weird happenings going on. A lot of disgusting people/ guests/employees fighting and disruptive. Wouldn't recommend to my biggest enemy.
Stopped here overnight during a cross country move. It's a great little motel, our room was clean and quite nice. They allowed my dog, which is great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Booked a room through Booking.com. Paid booking.com for the room, received a confirmation # and the request was made to the motel. Everything was a go until I got to the motel. The young man behind the counter told me there was "no room" available that night and also that they had no reservation with my name. Then he asked how long I would be staying, told him 1 night. Out of nowhere he now said there was a room available for 1 night @ $127.68. I already paid booking.com $98 for the room. Watch your billing when staying at this place.
This recently remodeled vintage motel has character that you won't find at any chain hotel. No pool, no spa, it's not a luxury accommodation, but it is a good place to stay. It has clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. In room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and TV with Roku, although the bandwidth can get strained if everyone is using it at the same time. You can park right in front of your room, no stairs or elevators because it's one floor. There are some picnic tables if you want to sit outside. There is a fossil shop next door and a convenience store two doors down. I didn't hear my neighbors at all and slept very well. Everything in the room seemed to function just fine. Staff was friendly and polite.
