I truly can't imagine a better place to stay! The cottage was beyond my expectations. Located minutes from Deland, it was perfect for my visit. There's no doubt, I will consider this my go to air bnb when in the area again!

Held a wedding here on February 24th. Venue owners are more than accommodating and were helpful from the time we asked to hold the wedding there, to when we left the venue after the ceremony. We bought the place for 2 nights for our guests and all of them loved the cottages and the adorable atmosphere in the central area; many guests told us how they would definitely be visiting again on their own time. The main house is a sight to behold on its own due to the history, and the interior is very well kept. Every time we have visited before the wedding the outdoor gardens were maintained even in the winter time! They have so many little 'hiding' spots to be at outside (We chose 2 of them for our pictures together). They are a great place if you want a home away from home since every cottage has a full kitchen and bath. The rooms in the main house are incredibly cozy for a weekend visit. If you are visiting Blue Springs, this is the place to be for the weekend.

I was alone in this house the entire week. Didn't see one other person at all. I had the entire house to myself. It was quiet obviously! Haha. I enjoyed the stay. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but I got use to it after the first night. Bathroom was super nice, almost as big as the room!

We had a lovely stay in the "Victorian" cottage. The bed was wonderful and the "jet tub" was exceptional! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was close to the Blue Springs State Park, which was our destination. We would have stayed 2 days longer but they were booked up for the weekend💚 We'll be back!💚

The Alling House cottage we stayed in was very comfortable & well-stocked with all the basics—great value for the price. The grounds & neighborhood are good for walking. The owners provided all needed information and responded quickly & thoroughly to any questions or needs.

Had a wonderful weekend in the Nature Cottage. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Easiest check in and checkout ever! Would definitely visit again.

My family and I stayed at the Ailing House for nearly the past 6 weeks. We were in transition from moving from one home unto another. Most of our stay was in the Railroad cottage which was extremely beautiful. It was so peaceful and nice. It was reminiscent of a smaller home, with all of the homelike amenities while on vacation. If you are traveling on vacation, this is the perfect accommodation. The cottages are roomy, comfortable and the property is extremely safe. The housekeeper Carol is extremely sweet and helpful. My mother literally had the Owners personal cell phone number and he always was available. I will never forget this experience and the kindness shown to my family and I from the Ailing House Owners and staff. Truly a 10/10 experience during a difficult time!

Over the years, we’ve stayed at the Alling House about a dozen times. It’s conveniently near to John Knox Village where we visit relatives. The cottages all have different, but traditional style themes. This time we stayed in the Nature Cottage which was clean, comfortable, and had many thoughtful touches. What we like best about the cottages here though is that they provide a quiet oasis.
