Ohhh the Alley Cat. Depending on the day and time your experience can vary in this bar located on the 6th Ave “Strip” in T-town. Great place to pre and post funk since a heavy hand is the alley cat way…¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A spacious space with a pool table, dart boards, pinball machines and a patio, but when it gets packed it’s very packed so be warned, unless that’s what you’re looking for.
It's a departure from usual restaurant bars on 6th. Has character, and for some it could be considered divey, but in general is not. There's outside seating in the back with a mini palm tree, plenty of pinball games, pool table, skee ball, couple other shooting games. The drinks were decent for 6th Ave too. The burger was really good with the prosciutto and portobello, and the Greek fries had a pretty good flavor that gyro places don't typically have. The prices aren't bad either. I will come back to the ave just for this place. Have heard that the later crowds can get a little dicey but I haven't experienced that yet.
Great place to hang out on a Friday/Saturday night. They had pin ball a pool table and an outdoor court yard area that was super chill. 10/10 would recommend
The burger is so good and it's on the happy hour menu as well. Great pinball machines. Only complaint I had was the room with most of the machines smelled like mold and made my allergies go crazy.

Nice Bar and staff. They serve food n full bar menu. Big patio and lots of room n space. Staff is not wearing masks so not sure what covid protocols they are practicing during a major Omicron surge. Fyi
My favorite "dive bar" in Tacoma. The place is deceptively large with eclectic interior. I love that there are arcade games and a photobooth. I like to go there on a week night and play pool. The patio is really nice. The food is like Mediterranean with a bar food twist. I like it! The bartenders are nothing but friendly and accommodating. I'm always cracking up there because of them. It's not too hip and cool nor is it so old school and grimy. I feel that it really encompasses the Tacoma vibe of friendly, fun, lighthearted, and communal.
Overall chill spot to vibe out with the crew or solos. Most busy on Friday and Saturday unless event planning. Through the week it’s chill and bartenders remain calm and collective.
