Great place! Clean rooms with a modern vibe. I appreciate the convenience of being able to get right in to the room without having to deal with checkin. Some people mentioned road noise but we slept until 8:00 one day which has probably never happened since our daughter was born almost 6 years ago. Great service and communication!
This isn’t just a boutique motel but a work of art to stay in. As soon as you step into the room you're blown away by the view. The huge nearly floor to ceiling window in each room overlook the Columbia River Gorge and on a clear day the snow capped peak of Mt Adams in the distance. The scenery is so perfect that it feels like it’s HDTV.
You can tell the motel's owners thought about everything to maximize the experience and provide a comfortable basecamp.
A leather bound book sits on the desk that's built into the wall providing all the information you need for the area. The shower curtains are made with recycled kite material donated by local kitesurfing community. Below the window is a seating area with cubbies to store your gear.
You may come to ride the trails or hit up Mt Hood but you’ll stay for the world-class views. If you're fortunate enough try to book the Private Reserve room which is their largest and has a giant comfy king bed.
Nicely updated small hotel just a few blocks from downtown Hood River. Room was ready for arrival and communication with owner was easy. Note that reservation is confirmed via email but payment is completed right before arrival. I was a little nervous about the reservation however the owner assured me a couple of times our room is reserved. Payment was easy and our stay was super comfortable. Our room was small (we stayed in Maui) but it was all what we needed - clean, comfortable bed and all essentials. It's located across the street from two amazing breakfast restaurants and walkable to the downtown area. Dog friendly too which you don't see often these days (we didn't have a dog with us). Nice view from our room too! Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed here during a quick trip through Hood River and had a wonderful experience. Modern, clean, and comfortable rooms with a great layout (and amazing views). Very well located in the heart of town. A+ service from the manager, Andres, who made sure everything was perfect. Can’t wait to come back.
What a Cool place to stay in Hood River OR! The Adventure Lodge is worth a visit. I was in the “Hatch Room” and the interior style, cleanliness & ambiance was dialed. An excellent value & I will certainly return!
We spent 3 nights at Adventure Lodge, in the Labyrinth room, which was perfect for our family of 4. Loved having the bunk beds for the kids! The room was so comfortable, and the location was perfect. The owner was super responsive and helpful if we ever had questions. I’d say only negative is a lot of road noise as it’s located at a busy intersection, but we sleep with white noise and it didn’t bother us.
The Adventure Lodge was perfectly located and in walking distance of all the local Hood River gems. The room was exactly what we needed, supplied with all the necessities thanks to the awesome staff! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks team!
The Adventure Lodge has beautiful rooms, gorgeous views, excellent location, and FANTASTIC customer service. We will definitely be returning if we are in the area. They were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome and cared for.

My husband and I decided to stay at the Best Western and after checking in, we knew we made the right choice of choosing the best Western. It is in a great location and has an on-site bar/lounge and resturant. Kimi in the lounge is spectacular. Her s
Love this place! After staying at the Hood River Hotel and having an absolute terrible nights sleep, I booked a night here and Meredith did everything to make our stay wonderful. We brought our new puppy and they even gave him a welcome gift with a
Killer street tacos! These are so authentic you'll feel like you're in Mexican beach town, and they won't break the bank either! The adobada, carne asada, and pork carnitas are excellent.
Best breakfast sandwich I have had In a very long time, hands down. Golden Goods sweeps you into an inviting space, with fresh baked aromas, and smiling faces. Don't miss out on a stop at Golden Goods, your mind and body with thank you!

Surprising little gem of a brew pub. Small tap list focused more on German style beers. Friendly service. Freshnet Helles was very good, Kolsch beer as well. Worth a visit.
We had our wedding at the Ruins on 8/5/23 and it was an amazing experience! Ryan and Elody were great to work with leading up to the day and Michael was a great bartender for the evening - very friendly and personable! The ruins is a beautiful venue
Kelsey just sold me a running experience in the form of a running shoe. My daughter told me that this place is awesome and I totally agree. Sorry Jeff Bezos...I am coming here for future purchases.
This is our second time visiting the highway. And a second time doing it on E bikes. It is a wonderful ride. A combination of hikers and bicyclists. The road is wide and well taken care of. I am sure you could easily hike or ride a regular bike as we
This place should not be allowed. Too beautiful and too tasty. Ridiculous view of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. Gorgeous wine lodge. Fabulous gardens, vineyards and flowers. You will love this with all the family. Dogs welcome. Plenty of space. EV c
