The Abbey Inn & Spa - Featured Reviews (252)
I was here this past weekend and absolutely loved it. It was a random last minute booking and we couldn't be more happy with our choice. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the history of the place is fascinating and the food and drinks and service were amazing. Joe at the bar served amazing cocktails and mocktails and was so engaging, giving us history of the place. The chef was outstanding, and the food was top notch. All staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back for a fall visit! Highly recommend!
I had the pleasure of DJing several weddings at The Abbey Inn and have nothing but great things to say about the team there.
What an absolutely beautiful venue to have your wedding. It's beautiful inside and out. Very serene outside to the point where I was able to step out to get some fresh air and feel nice and calm going into the wedding. It's not often spoken about as a vendor when you feel comfortable and almost at home working with another vendor. Shout out to the team at The Abbey Inn! Can't wait to work there again!
I had a lovely stay at the Abbey Inn and Spa. We were looking for a quick and relaxing getaway before my husband started a new job, the Abbey was perfect. The grounds are beautiful, unfortunately we did not get to experience this as the weather did not cooperate. |I had the same experience as another guest, the fire alarm went off during my massage. It was terrible timing, but no one to blame. They brought us out of the massage room and allowed us to stay in the hotel until they figured out what was going on. They were going to reschedule us, when the alarm stopped. I was able to return to my massage. Everyone was so apologetic it was easy to relax. The most challenging part of this was another guest who very much wanted to blame someone. She appeared to feel that she was more inconvenienced than everyone else. Fortunately, the situation was quickly resolved, and most importantly everyone was safe.|We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant, with drinks after. All of the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The next morning we had a nice light breakfast. I did not notice anyone smelling like cigarette smoke. I worked in the restaurant industry for years, smoking is very common. This job draws in a large number of people who find that nicotine is relaxing. I work in mental health, there are some behaviors that you ignore understanding that there may be a deeper reason for it.|I would absolutely return to the Abbey Inn for a nice and relaxing get away!
My wife and I stayed Easter weekend and loved it. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. My wife loved her facial and I enjoyed relaxing and taking in the view. The art throughout the hotel is local and lovely. And we enjoyed the restaurant very much. It was like having a vacation home ok outside the citycity without the hassle. Staff was great too. We’ll be back!
Abbey Inn and Spa was by far one of the best experiences. I typically only get massages at a spa but wanted to try something new and decided on a facial. Unsure of how it worked and what specifically to do, I was pleasantly impressed that the esthetician was very knowledgeable and took the time to talk with me first and decide on the best options. The facial was amazing to say the least! My friends and I weren’t rushed and got to hang out in the waiting/relaxation while the manager Renee took the time to sit with us and chat. We ended our day with the most amazing lunch at the restaurant on site. A second visit is definitely on my to do list!
Deceitful and Dismissive.
Misleading package details were compounded by unprofessional and dismissive behavior from the reservation staff. I was even hung up on by the front desk.
When I initially made inquiries to their “helicopter package” Denise was kind and very accommodating at making sure I confirmed details, but this was soured when another front desk person Elizabeth treated me rudely when I asked details about the helicopter package.
To my surprise, despite their advertising helicopter rides for their helicopter package, no rides were included. Even the course for the dinner was misrepresented as a 5 course dinner, when the staff said it would be the typical 3 course dinner.
Not fitting behavior or practice for a “luxury” hotel or a fine dining establishment.
Our stay here was wonderful. The property is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly and accommodating.
Special shout out to Erin, the front desk manager, who was simply the best. She truly knows what it means to be in the hospitality industry.
If you’re considering booking this hotel, do it!
I didn't stay overnight. I went restaurant. My vegetarian burger was excellent with the truffle fries. I then had a deep tissue massage. I go to massages all the time. I have to say this the massage was so dang good......I am going back... Actually I was looking at the 80 minute price instead of the hour. I was happy that it wasn't badly priced especially for the superb service. This woman was good sent. I mean she hit every muscle I have. I recommend highly.. I then went to the bar. I ain't a drinker but I had the shrimp coconut appetizer which was excellent and the endive with blu cheese and vinaigrette. It was excellent. The ambience. Go by get a bite. The place has decent prices and better quality food than this junk we get at some of these places. The vegetarian burger and truffle fries was only $20. Please tell me where are you going to get that at in Westchester County.....Let's support good establishment. It wasn't stuffy it was inviting..
This gym is so clean, not crowded, has a lot of different equipment to choose from. Carter is so passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly. Iâm going to have surgery next month and he went through which machines and exercises would be beneficial to s
We went there in the afternoon, The temperature was a little bit high. So we did not get enough enthusiasm to explore all the area, sat under the tree and enjoyed the spectacular view from there.
Peekskill Public Bar and Grill is a blast! The atmosphere is as lively as a Friday night and the staff is as friendly as your favorite neighbor. The menu is a foodie's dream â each dish is a flavor explosion. Whether you're a burger buff or a salad
I went to see Herman's Hermits.
Very entertaining and so much fun. We were in the upper mezzanine and had a great view.
Bar also sold water, and at least, NY Pretzels. The theater might even be an historic place, well kept.
