We've had the privilege of experiencing a number of musicals at this beautiful theater. The iconic theater built in 1926 is ornately modeled on the Forbidden City in China, as well as the Emperor's Summer Palace and the Temple of Heavenly Peace. Wherever you sit, you will still have an experience that is to be remembered. This threater is by far the best value and experience in Washington. There is a parking garage, but it's a few blocks away, and finding parking on the busy one-way streets of Seattle will be tough for expectations. Rideshare is the most convenient method to get to this location. Inside has multiple concession stands that serve adult beverages and the usual snacks and candies. There are restrooms on the main floor and the lower floors, but they get filled almost immediately, and you will see people run for a good spot as soon as there is an intermission. If you're not shy, there are all-gender bathrooms on the main floor. The main theater is heated and cooled, and the seats are comfortable and provide good support during what are usually 3-hour events. Service is friendly and professional, and if you ask a question, they'll know exactly where to guide you. This includes security and ticket agents who are very friendly to greet you at the door. Midas 5-stars for the superb atmosphere and service.
This place is beautiful!!! The Little Mermaid was spectacular!!! The seats are smaller but that's okay! I'd reccomend the lower mezzanine, but really any of the seats will be a decent view. I'd snag the lowest price ones just to go attend one! It's worth it
Beautiful theater, comfortable seats with room in between rows (paramount has your knees touching the seats in front of you!) We saw the Sing Along to Sound of Music, it was soooo spectacular!! Interactive, costume contest, highly suggest the sing alongs!
Just a beautiful theater with world class productions! I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. We've been seeing shows at the 5th for decades now, love it!
Such a fantastic production. And the theater is so gorgeous. Beyond describable, it's so detailed and opulent that the architecture is a production itself. They really put out quality shows.
Love this theater its beautiful . glad it was saved from being demolished, its important Seattle saves your historic buildings (like dont be like Vancouver bc demolish everything) the theater has light snack bar with drinks. Its got mini gift shop area . Its got Washrooms . The theater seats are very comfortable . Loved seeing the little mermaid here . Definitely will be back .
A beautiful theatre located downtown Seattle. The theatre shows world famous theatrical performances. Staff is always very professional and friendly.
Took my girls to see the little mermaid and we had the most amazing time. All of the performers were amazing and all of the staff was very polite. I had a blast. I highly recommend visiting this place.
