I finally got the chance to go to this Portland staple, The 1905, and I can see why everyone praises this venue for jazz and simple yet delicious food. The show was so fun to watch, with a very cozy stage and atmosphere focused on the music. Alongside this, the drink options were plentiful and delicious. I loved the food as well, with fresh pizza and pasta you can see being made in the kitchen just a few feet away. I cannot recommend this place enough, and it is without a doubt one of the best venues I've been to for Jazz (was actually the first time I saw live Jazz!!). When I think about my favorite places to go in Portland, The 1905 will be on that list.
The wife and I shared her birthday here, and I was amazed at the quality of the food. Appetizer Brussel Sprouts, sliced pizza, and a Mushroom Pasta dish, and everything was so good. Service was quick and easy to order. We can't wait to return, and plz don't let me forget that the music of Micheal R's quartet was off the charts...
Great experience, unique cocktails and cool ambience - what more would you want? Host was kind and attentive. Enjoyed the tomato basil cocktail which was surprisingly good! Worth a visit when in Paris!
This place is awesome! My boyfriend and I came for date night and had the best time. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the music was incredible. We had the cheese pizza (which was a great NY slice), the kale salad (perfectly Parmesan’d), the Mac and cheese (with hints of sharp cheddar this stuff was no joke), and a N/A spritz (that was a tasty beverage option for the non-drinkers). We will definitely be coming back. What an amazing way to spend an evening!
Great little Jazz Club. The vibe is off the charts. The music is even better. Great for all ages (over 21, of course) and just a chill relaxing change of pace, and perfect for a wonderful date night. Only gave the food 4 out of 5 stars because a lot of menu items were out of stock, or it would have been a 5 too.
The food was very yummy but also quite expensive for the amount you are getting. The drinks aren't worth it as they are super over priced and sell out so fast. However the live music and atmosphere is a very special experience, if you have the money or you want to do a special occasion or date this is a good place to go!
We got tickets tonight for the 5:30 show and had a fantastic time. Good and drink was great but a little pricey for the amount you get. The music was wonderful, we saw the Adam Bimbaum Trio from NYC and they played for about an hour. We got a couple drinks in and just enjoyed the music. We loved the venue and seating arrangement…not too close to people but also not awkwardly busy. The host was very personable and the servers/staff were friendly and sweet, we felt prioritized when we had questions on the menu. This was a great date to pass some time and relax without completely breaking the bank! It’s places like this that keep PDX nice and lively!!
Great intimate jazz club. The indoor club seats approximately 50 people max. There is a lovely patio for outdoor eating when the weather is nice. Very good food- pizza, pasta, salads (do not skip the delicious Brussels sprouts), and excellent cocktails. The music was first rate, just a fantastic experience! I can’t wait to come back again!
I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point. Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
Lexie is everything youâd want in a trainer. Smart, funny, and down to earth, but also tough enough to keep you motivated. Iâve been working with her for a year and a half and Iâve made significant progress in terms of strength and mobility. Iâ

I absolutely loved this spot!! We stumbled upon it after picking up some food from the Cart Blocks trucks. We were welcomed in with our food and purchased a glass of wine to enjoy with our food on the top deck. The atmosphere is so lovely! The serve

Best gym ever!!! I have been attending classes at PDX strength for years, they are challenging but scalable, and the environment is supportive, noncompetitive, and fun. I have recently started personal training sessions with Jocelyn and have made a
If you go to any coffee shop in all of Portland, this has to be the one! Ryan has so much experience in coffee and it absolutely shows. He puts so much care into each cup of coffee that he makes and his latte art is phenomenal ð¥ His espresso is ab
This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the âwicked awesomeâ sandwich. We arenât vegetarians but he was so insistent that we chan
Awesome facility and located 5 minutes away. It was easy to find, although I wish it had a Risio sign outside. Their website was nice to navigate through and book a drop in session. Margaret the owner communicates and follows through and she looks li
The cart weâve needed! Rich flavors with the creamiest mac n cheese and mashed potatoes (my fave). Donât sleep on the desserts either. Somehow tastes even better as leftovers!
